So the top WR just eliminated LSU in favor of Ole Miss and Auburn? Somehow I don't believe that.

Ole Miss is not in it .... it was said that he is down to UT/AU/UGA. The UT scout article and their message board said it was those three and then a Auburn mod on 247 posted on the LSU board that LSU had been eliminated and it was those finals three for Patterson. Just reporting what has been posted.

Also, if it is true then it has to be a UGA lock. UT is terribad and AU is heading down the poopshoot with the loss of both coordinators and Dyer. They have a decent young QB, but nothing to really offer Patterson that will help him be the one and done like everyone thinks he is. The only school in that final three that would make sense is UGA.

Well shite. This makes no sense. If I'm a stud WR I'm coming to LSU. There's a starting position sitting there for a big, fast WR to take with a GREAT chance to play for a nation title. Has Les's brain shutdown performance really scared these guys off?

Does a Top QB or WR have the want to come play for Miles after a 4 year history of no consistent passing attack?
Even after we hired a passing game coordinator and QB coach, the team was too inept in the passing game. Miles showed his true offensive philosophy at the end of the regular season and into post season - run, run, run up the middle even if it costs us a BCSNC.
Guess what - it could have turned off talented kids at QB and WR, need positions too.

This is all still just speculation. Patterson said he would not list his top 3 yet. Or am I missing something other than an Aub mod claiming to have inside info?

it prolly has more to do with the last 2 years and the end of the this year, more so than just the NC game.
I can promise you, LSU is not the only school offering immediate PT and he may want to be closer to his home.

Just seems to be an off year for us in recruiting...as far as hype is concerned..

The guy looked like he was having a ball at Rebirth Friday. No way he goes to ole miss or auburn looking at their rosters. Has to be LSU/UGA
