all of his passes are like that. he does have good touch at all. if he wasnt a good runner he would not be playing QB.

the thing is...in college...you don't need a superstar QB...just superstars around the QB. If Jefferson can get the job done at QB (height advantage, arm strength advantage) it might make more sense for shep to line up somewhere else...and they might be able to talk him into it once he gets into practice.

In all honesty, I would think this is going to end up being 50/50. We are going to have Jarrett Lee for 3 more years, Jordon Jefferson for 3 more years, and Garrett for 5 years to play 4. I honestly think that if the coaching staff feels Shep can help us more playing another position they will put him there. That being said, obviously the staff can feel like he will help us the most at QB.

My only concern about making a WR out of him is that he needs to touch the ball often to best use his talents. He won't get those touches at WR. Think Pat White!

He will probably contribute at a number of positions. QB, and will be very effective on deception/trick plays as a skill player.

I agree with him adding a dimension. I think he stays at QB...but much like the Tebow/Leak situation. I can see Crowton utilizing a two QB system but with him being the primary.
