would we really want Ridley, Ford, and Michael? Dont all three bring the same goods to the table.
Murph, Shepard(in certain pkgs), Ridley, Ford, Calhoun should give us everything we need through 2010, we have time to land another stud next year.
If Michael wasnt what the coaches wanted, he wasnt what they wanted. Just cause we lost one does not mean we sign one up we dont want for four freaking years (poss five).
I never thought I would see what I saw over the past recruiting period; that is, so many people so pumped at how we did not sign one of the top RBs in the country. Whoopeee!
That decision could really stick out like a huge sore thumb more and more as time goes by. Then again, maybe we will sign Seastrunk or some other stud RB and it will be just fine. Personally, I think if an opportunity presents itself, you take it.

Wow, just wow. You might want to go check again and see who LSU signed last year at RB before you make any more posts. I'll even give you a hint: we did sign one of the top RBs in the Country last year, a dude that had a lot more impressive offers than Michael.

Leave Jake Tucker out of this

Lets get this thread back on track...
The state of Texas appears to have a stall full of LB's and them offering Tevin Jackson bodes well for us... (Aaron Benson, Corey Nelson & Kurt Killens)
The recruiting battle for Lache Seatrunk is about to get Dirty! Both UT and LSU need him in the worst way. Both schools only took 1 RB in this class.
Not sure if we are in the mix for Connor Wood, but the fact that they took Gilbert in this class and the little McCoy will surely scare off any other qb's...

Lache is not committing early. That's complete BS. He's gonna be a Randle like situation in terms of hoopla and drama I think.
But I think we stand the best chance out of anyone.
By the way, how boring would Texas recruiting be. Get everyone from in-state then wrap it up by the spring/summer.
Our recruiting is way more fun to follow.........or nerve wracking.

OU offered him last week when we offered.
Texas had offered the week before.

Texas always get their commits early. I have stated from the begining, I would have signed CM in a minute, but we will play with what we have.

And Michael Ford would be?
And Michael Ford would be?

We offered Benson I expect him to commit within the month. We have a good shot at Nelson but we aren't looking at Killens so he's all yours. I think Connor might be looking at OU because Texas and LSU just signed big time QB's.

So much so that I'd put my money down on USC right here and now if he were to pull the trigger today. Got some ground to make up.
