dude, scott and williams will be gone after next year. murphy hasnt shown anything to prove that he can be the main guy. holliday barely gets any touches. calhoun probably wont be a RB.
still that leaves murph, ridley, ford, pratt, and potentially lache all looking for carries
my point is I think Ford is plenty enough RB that people shouldn't crap themselves that he gets left out because of numbers

Cajun - Michael Ford had a fairly long run in the first quarter that he fumbled into the end zone, recovered by Leesville for a TD.
Question - does he get credit for the yards he gained before the fumble, or does that go as a no-carry?

Stallworth carried the team in the first half. They were keying on Ford so much, he ran a lot of keepers and kept the chains moving.
He would step out of bounds rather than take a huge hit on the sidelines, but he usually got the good gain or the first down before stepping out.
Sometimes you could see him limping a bit.
His passing looked great to me. Couple of passes it looked like the reciever pulled up too soon - would have had at least one more long TD pass with a better route run.

Wampus Cat, Ford got credit for a 29-yard run before he fumbled. Terrill Turner recovered at the one yard line and Stallworth scored on the next play.

Thats why you are just a fan. The people who get paid for this say differently.

Cajun - thanks - I thought he must have gotten credit for the yardage, but didn't know for sure how that worked.

Compare the numbers between Richardson and Ford. I may be a little biased, but I would take Ford over any other running back in the nation. We'll see soon enough in the SEC.
