Clemson has had some good QBs. If they like him, they see something in him. Hope LSU sees it too.

Saltwater Jameis Dad actually talked to me and Quads Dad and said he thinks Quad is better than Jameis was at this stage.

Yeah I’ve watched video of him. Looks good. Those close to him like yourself get to see all the other that we can’t see on video. Football looks bright for this young man. Y’all are doing an awesome job. Keep it up!

I've never been "that guy" but this story is so good that I've actually been watching Quad's twitter...good news for the Tigers is that he has only really personally tweeted out about meeting with Ensminger. And it was way positive!

To quote Quad "Had a great time speaking with coach Ensminger today! Looking forward to working with him and forming a relationship with him as well! Getting reeeal close!!" with a tiger emoji after

The good news CL8100 is that your opinion and poor attempt to be an internet troll doesn’t matter. Quad is better than any QB LSU has had on the roster for the last decade. That’s a fact.

Like I've said a few times, I'm not trying to be a Debbie downer and I genuinely am a fan of the story and Quad seems to be a fantastic kid. But I feel like the legend is a little bigger than the player at this point. People saying Quad is superior to the top QB's in his class is kind of hard to believe. And saying Quad is better than a guy they have on the roster right now, in Myles Brennan, is also a stretch.

Maybe. Maybe not. Your opinion. Guess we will see.

I love Myles Brennan. He’s gonna be a good QB
. But what I know is that Quad has superior arm talent, he’s faster, more athletic, and plays in a 3-4 read offense right now.

Like I said. America is about to know who he is. And that’s from what I know as facts.

Quad can sling it, I looked at his film, but you seriously underestimate the talents of Lowell Narcisse and Myles Brennan as well as disrespect them by saying stuff like Quad's talents are much better than theirs and other past LSU QB's. A lot of people don't even realize how good of a talent Narcisse is because he's had two serious knee injuries in HS, but go and look at his highlights, the film doesn't lie. A ridiculously powerful arm that he throws with touch on a lot of times, and he can run, it's like a 230 pound RB coming at you. If completely healthy again, and he should be because it's been awhile now since he's played, LSU has a serious playmaker at the QB position this upcoming season even though a lot of people are talking about Myles Brennan.

But I like Quad Brown's highlights, and if LSU has offered as they should have he's the future at LSU. I'm not worried about the kids weight like the other poster keeps commenting about because I know he'll gain muscle weight once on a college regimented program like Moffit has.

Would love to have Quad.

Not going to get into comparing him to players that are already on the LSU roster but I do like him more than Foster.

I of these posts are obviously just that one persons opinion including mine.

I would like to get Gunnel and Quad but also would like to get to more of a situation where we are getting one 4 star or better qb each year to provide more stability at the position.

Then please LSU coach them like you want them to make it to the NFL.

Imo qb development at LSU has been more of a problem then qb recruiting.

This is the kind of thing I'm talking about. I know how it is, but I feel that you are starting to hype the kid up and kind of setting him for disappointment. Like the whole Jameis Winston thing. I hope you didn't relay that to Quad.

I just look at the body of work. If we are being honest, Quad isn't some needle in a haystack. These colleges knew who he was, big time LSU insiders like Sonny Shipp have said as much. You take what Myles did in high school, 15,000 pass yards, 67% completions, 165 TD's, 25 INT's, 10.2 yards per attempt. Or Gunnell, 11,000 pass yards, 70% completion percentage, 142 TD's to 21 INT's, 10.9 yards per pass. And Quad, 2,000 yards, 24 TD's, 11 INT's, 58% completion percentage, 8.1 yards per attempt.

I'm not trying to put down a kid here, but there's a reason he is where he is. To bring this rant full circle, he's not Myles Brennan. He doesn't have the arm talent that Myles. Myles has elite arm talent, Grant Gunnell has elite arm talent. It's just a matter of if the rest of the pieces can fit together.

Myles played against nobody in high school so it is still a wait and see as to how he responds against the big boys.

Didn’t have to relay it. Jameis Dad told him that himself.

You are wrong. No one knew who he was. Especially “insiders”

There is a lot more to Quads story than you are generalizing as the reason why “He is where he is” And I’m sorry to disagree with you, I’ve has Quad evaluated by one of the most prominent and trust worthy evaluators in the Country and another guy that works for the Detroit Lions. And they both agree he has Jamarcus Russell arm talent, which I believe was talked about on a radio show last week.

Like I said. You will see.

Lastly I don’t need you to tell me what to tell and what not to tell Quad. No one is “filling his head or over hyping him” Like is said you don’t know the whole situation. But you will.

This is my last post here guys. It’s been real!

That's kind of what's at play here as well, and what kind of has me questioning the talent level. Calera only finished 7-5 this season and the teams they beat were on average just inside the top 200 programs in Alabama. 197 on average to be exact. When you are playing competition that is that poor, Quad's numbers just don't add up against a guy like Myles. I would even venture to say against competition like that, they should be better.

Also seems according to those rankings, the two top teams Calera played this season they scored 15 points per game, and Quad completed just 56% of his passes and threw 2 TD's and 3 INT's. The one thing I couldn't find is what he did vs Beauregard or how many points they scored, I saw 14 and 17 reporter from different sites. Couldn't find his stats either.
