Had several classes with Dalton back in 82 & 83 will be great to see another Hillard carrying the ball for the tigers.

Congrats on Hillard,
The future looks very bright at LSU. This 2011 class is looking like the kind of class that doesn't come along very often. You may have the #1 ranked OT, the #1 ranked DT, and the #1 ranked RB already committed and all are home state kids. It is pretty impressive to say the least.

This class could take LSU to a whole new level when you add it to the talent already there. It is scary good....

Thx VOL61. The excitement around the 2011 class reminds me a whole lot of the Clayton/Spears class. The difference is that it's still 14 months until signing day.

This class will likely be more talented than that one, but at that time, we just didn't get classes like that.

Looking awesome for 2011 so far, but it begs the question: can we keep all of them onboard until Signing Day? You guys foresee any of these kids "looking around" at other schools, or are they all considered pretty solid? Thanks.

hopefully we don't lose Corch Miles before signing day 2011. We need to keep things as is until those horses are in the barn.

only thing he lacks is elite speed, but he is fast enough b/c everything else he does is top level. saying he'll be only a FB or a LB as others have before is asinine.

Agreed. Most NFL running backs do Not have elite speed, much less college backs. 4.6 or 4.7 for a power back is plenty fast enough, and matters less than balance, quickness to the hole and vision do. KH has attracted Div. I college coaches since junior high and this is a major coups for the Tigers, though people from the Patterson area have said for two years he was a Tiger lock. I do believe Coach Wilson being hired sealed the deal as for as committing this early as he had been recruiting Hilliard for UT and word was that Kenny really liked him though he was not strongly considering the 'Vols.

Hilliard is still taking all of his visits and told my buddy who works at Tom Shaw where Kenny has been training that he is just verbally committed and still wants to look around for a place where he can be THE feature back

bullshite! He wants to take visits, but hes not looking at the chance to be a feature back. Hilliard and Hill want to play together. Hilliard, Hill, Collins, Landry, and Johnson are already a close knit group. They will be the future leaders of this team.

Im just telling you what he said to my friend while working out and bullshittin

IMO, why would hilliard be worried about Hill, Ford is better than Hill and would be getting the carries anyways so it would be Hilliard and Ford carrying the load

Alfred Blue is also out there working out with them, he said Alfred is being looked at as a possible WR, just needs to work on his hands some

I never said hes worried about Hill, I said he wants to play with Hill and the other group hes become friends with. Hilliard wants to take some visits to enjoy the process, but he wants to be a Tiger. I've heard numerous quotes from Kenny, and I've never heard anything that would back up anything you've said about being a feature back.
