Well, he played in the SEC and National Championship games as a true freshman. He's getting PT in the Nickel and Dime packages as well as ST as a true sophomore. Yeah. He earned them. To imply otherwise is to belittle half of your own team from 2011.

they can't stop defending him, they have to justify his hype. again, he may live up to it one day, but so far, he hasn't.

Then why do LSU fans continue to bring him up? He's playing a role for the team. it will expand. He is, essentially, going through same process Clinton-Dix and Mark Barron went through - play ST as a FR, play Nickel & Dime as a SO, and start as a JR.
he may never live up to his hype, but if he doesn't it won't be b/c he didn't go to LSU.

I respect that statement, and I agree. he has a chance to be very good, saban is one of, if not the best when it comes to coaching db's. my point is, so far LSU isn't missing him. honestly, I thought he would have an impact like Janzen Jackson did (on the field).

Well he's 1-0 vs. LSU so far! And he's got a SEC and Natl Title. So....and he is playing. Just because he isn't the STARTER doesn't mean that he as all hype! I mean COME FREAKING ON!!!!!!

I believe that Saban is more interested in ruining our team by taking these players more than his interest in making his team better. What I mean is, if he is so good of a coach why does he need all those great players?

he was the #2 safety in the country, the #17 player overall, and the #1 player in the state, per rivals, and they compared him to laron landry. he's a true soph, and so far, he's playing on st, and nickel and dime. call me crazy, but i'm not impressed. I could wrong, he has plenty of time to live up to the hype, but so far he hasn't.
