And this is all coming from someone who claimed we would get our arse worked over against Clemson,
Most everyone thought that...

that our RBs sucked
Show me where I said that. I didn't. I said the veterans were nothing to tremor at (they aren't) and the freshmen were unproven (they were).

our TEs sucked
Never said that either. Just said they weren't much to worry about.

we had the worst front 7 in the SEC outside of Rolo.
You've won 2 games. Only beat Tulane by 13. it's not like your front 7 is lighting the world on fire man...

ou also said MSU was a better team than Bama.
they very well still could end up being...

Most everyone thought that...
quote:No, you said something to the affect of "and Glenn Coffee is still your runningback". My rebuttal was that he is a very good back for our offense and does everything right. He is our most complete back, has good vision, runs extremely hard, etc..in your opinion thats average. Wrong. You also took a shot at Ingram, seems you were wrong about him as well implying that we could not count on him because he was a freshman.

Never said that either. Just said they weren't much to worry about.
quote:We haven't allowed an offensive TD yet this season...I'd say we are setting the world on fire with this sorry bunch. The defense cannot do shite about scoring so your "you beat TUL by 13" goes right out the window.
You've won 2 games. Only beat Tulane by 13. it's not like your front 7 is lighting the world on fire man...
I guess it just goes to show what kind of coaches we have on this defensive staff. Truly a testament to take this god awful front 7 and turn them into what they have....amazing.

I said Coffee was solid not spectacular in an offense that is in desperate need for playmakers after losing their two best receivers.
Coffee has been solid and is yet to find the end zone.
Ingram has looked good. I said you couldn't count on 12 freshmen to be all your playmakers... and you can't. Never said you "can't count on Ingram."

7 catches 67 yards and a TD? That's a good game, but its not like he just dominated arse. Again, just like a said, he's solid, but not a game breaker.

Do you spell victory d-e-b-u-n-k-e-d?
Because all I said was that I proved that all the shite you talk is unsubstantiated. You get in stupid arguments and then you get punked on and then come back to them later and start paraphrasing old posts and things and talking about how "wrong" people were ad nauseum. And you do this again and again and again, always and specifically to LSU fans mostly because I think you sit there and yank your chain to this idea that you are the bane of LSU fans when really you are just a stupid pain in the arse.

quote:So it goes from "And Glenn Coffee is still your runningback" to Coffee is solid. Cool. He is solid...and thats been my stance on him since day 1, glad you finally see the light.

quote:No, thats not what you said. In fact, you said you don't have to worry about him. Wrong. He torched Clemson by himself. They left him open all night and he made plays. Walker moves well for a big guy. Everytime we needed a big play, JPW found Walker. He had a great game blocking and a great game catching.

It'll be incredibly fun to watch McElwain's TE driven offense come forth in the future when we have the likes of Devonta Bolton and Brad Smelly catching passes. This staff sure knows how to recruit to fit the schemes.
quote:Maybe you missed victory was in quotations? "Victory" in quotations means a variety of things and I'll break it down for you quickly. Over the last year and a half I've not met one person who comes to the board more than you with stuff like your last paragraph.

"I just owned you..", "Debunked", "owned", "I own you in every argument", "are you tired of me owning you", etc etc etc. "Debunked" was just another one of your lines you use to validate your self worth on a message board...does this board really mean that much to you? Does it?
You didn't debunk anything...your just going in circles like you always do. One day you might realize this is just a message board, and you won't take things so personal.
When you get off the rag, I might respond again...until then, get a room with yourself.

I think Julio is more of a freak and Rueben has better football instincts. Bash me all you want but personally I like DeAndre Brown the best.. shame he went to USM.

DeAndre Brown > Julio as of right now...now, in 4 years that may not be true.

Julio Jones did not like press coverage once he got to the All Star games and practices. He had trouble getting separation. Trio can deny that all he wants. But it is a FACT.
I am sure he will be a very good player. But I am not seeing the superstar ability that he has been "hyped" for since signing.
If anything, he reminds me of Early Doucet. And that is not a bad thing.

Alonzo Lawrence (Bama commit, btw) held him in check in the MS all-star game...but that was in large part to the shitty QB (Aubie) that was getting him the ball. Julio had a great week in the Under Armour game and that entire week in general.
He hasn't had trouble getting separation on Saturdays yet nor in practice...so I fail to see your logic in claiming that as a fact?
