From the chatter early on it seemed like it was going to be a fight to the finish. He seemed smitten with everyone.
Great stuff

What does that say about Porter, because Maclin's parents trust him to keep their kid safe while he is in college getting a degree. They know Porter and not just as a recruiter, but before he even got the gig as LSU RB's coach.

Nelson and Maclin are different kinds of LBs correct? I read where Maclin COULD be a Rush End after all said and done.

Hearing that Dallas(TX) LB Corey Nelson has Oklahoma out in front. Nelson, I'm told, was dead set on LSU until Justin Maclin announced his intentions.

Justin Maclin's daddy James is from Covington, Tn and played at Memphis State...He was one of the strongest and SMARTEST kids I ever saw. He is an engineer in Memphis. Porter and Maclin played together..and the recruiting coordinator Don Yanowsky was a coach at Memphis State when both Porter and Maclin were there.
If anybody other than LSU would have landed this kid I would have been shocked...Good kid, great athlete that comes from a good family.
