I thought Kenny gave his verbal to Les after camp. He is just making this announcement to inform people who are not either on the LSU coaching staff OR do not read TD.

I think coaches take kids based on their own evaluations and we all know this. If a coach signs the kid he sees something he likes. Stars really don;t mean anything.
Tyrone Prothro was a 2 or 3 star and he was the best athelete we have had on our team in 5 years.
P.S. Mr. Clean - I think Green is looking pretty good.

does anyone remember Tyler Edwards last year?
Had LSU and Alabama in his final two, told some Bama reporters he was high on them. He slowly began to rise in rankings until announcing his commitment at the Under Armor game in Jan. Truth be told he was dropped to a 3 star after commiting to LSU.

Are you gonna cry and lose sleep if it happens to Kenny Bell? I think our coaching staff has a pretty good idea what they are doing regardless of what the scout people think....

rivals, scout or whoever. Im acually a member of scout so i prolly shouldnt have thrown them under the bus, but if either sight does it oh well. Like i said im got a pretty good idea Les and the staff are competant enough at doing their job...
