No, you guys didn't come to the Port City, we miss seeing you guys celebrating a hard fought victory over colorado or grief in losing to OK. State. Playing on the big stage seeing bama get handled like a red-haired foster child by UTAH was PRICELESS. I would prefer to see bama fall flat on their face in a big game but it does too much damage to the image of SEC supremacy.

Cadello is the only guy that is allowed to go on seemingly endless rants and show his explicit hatred for Bama (and Bama fans) on any board besides the Rant.

Cadello isn't a lost cause like some dickheads on the rant. He's diehard LSU that's all. I'm gonna work on him. Gimme some time.

This reminds me of seeing bama fans looking shocked and bewildered to see LSU flags and fans during their annual visit to shreveport for the independence bowl

i had my LSU sign at the game. i jus showed some 60 year old Bama fan my sign and it pissed him off. almost threw down with him in the parking lot before the game even started.

We had our high spots and low spots. Losing to the AP number 1 and number 2 teams would have to be our low spots.

Losing to an Arkansas team that got handled all year would rank up there pretty high for you guys. Getting stomped by Ole Miss, Florida, and Georgia could be up there. After talking smack about Saban for 2 years letting him come back and win was also not that great. After 3 wins and 5 losses in SEC play I probably would wait a bit to talk about PRICELESS.

Oh well... to next year...

that's more experience than two of Alabama's QB's, combined. McElroy has 20 pass attempts in his career. Jackson with 0. Jefferson showed MUCH improvement between the Arkansas game and the bowl game. if you watched the bowl game and don't think Jefferson doesn't have MUCH MUCH potential, then you're obviously a homer and probably shouldn't be in this conversation. Maybe you should watch another sport.

Not surprisingly you missed the point...again. Of course 2 starts is more than 0 starts...the point is that NEITHER team has an experienced QB. Period, end of story. You can tell yourself all day long that JJ's horrible first start and his lone good game against a bad ACC team means he'll be good. Ask AU fans how a good peach bowl performance against a bad ACC team by a freshman QB translates to the next year when he becomes a full time starter. Didn't work out so well for Burns, but you couldn't tell a barner that at this time last year without him laughing in your face.
quote:

yet, you fail to mention the improvement in the bowl game?

I mentioned the bowl game several times against that overrated, unranked team from a weak conference full of two star players. Learn to read.
quote:

It's obvious Rivals dictates the statistical output of these players as a team.

Fine, use Scout's data. You guys like to knock on Rivals alot, but Scout usually ranks players and teams almost identically over the course of several years as Rivals does. Use any service you want, that GT D was full of players that couldn't even get an SEC scholly offer. JJ will be afforded no such luxuries during the meat of your SEC schedule.
quote:

I agree. I don't think he'll see the field until his Jr. year.

He'll see the field way before that. You probably said the same thing about Luther Davis and Robbie Green, both of whom played as true freshman, and will play alot in 2009. I agree Bell needs a year in the weight room, but the kid has world class speed, good hands and decent height. No way he doesn't break into the rotation by his 2nd year.
quote:

Tulane and Utah were the games Andre Smith, JUST Andre Smith, missed last year and the results were hilarious. LSU will have a much easier time replaceing 2 O-Lineman than what Alabama has to replace.

Wrong, yet again. In both of those games Bama had TWO starting OL out. M Davis missed the Tulane game and Johnson missed the Utah game. Get your facts right.
quote:

I love it the way you guys think that true freshmen can just come in and make an instant impact. how's that Tyler Love working out so far?

Who said anything about true freshman? I'm talking about our last 3 OL classes. Those guys will be juniors, sophomores and RS freshman in 2009. Not to mention the 4-star JUCO tackle that is already enrolled and going through spring practice. Tyler Love will be a RS freshman in 2009 and battled a stress fracture last year. You're judging a kid that will be a freshman in 2009, and was injured last year as not being good? LOL...it may be you who needs to find another sport to watch since you obviously don't understand this game.

Why bring up 2007 Bama?

It is next year. Miles is 19-0 against out of conference teams in 4 seasons. Your coach has already lost to 3 out of conference teams in 2 seasons. UL(M) & Utah - Bama losses...Priceless

How many BCS OOC teams did Miles and LSU play last year. How many BCS conference teams do you play this year outside of Washington who is one of the worst teams in Div. 1A? Pretty easy to rack up a good OOC record when you play 4 cupcakes every year. Meanwhile, Bama is playing FSU, Clemson and VT every year with Penn State on the horizon.

Miami, Notre Dame, Virgina Tech, Georgia Tech, Arizona State..Ohio State? "Cupcakes" like that?

Do they pale in comparison to UL(M) & lilly white Utah?

hold off talkin shite about how good bama is until you have consecutive competitive seasons. you just became relevant again. let that sink in for a while before you start talkin about a team with a cupcake schedule. and alot more rings then bama has seen in quite a while.

Bowl games don't count, genius. We're talking about OOC games that the schools actually schedule in advance. Who was your marquee OOC match-up in 2008? App St.? And this year? Washington, who went like 0-12 last year?

This decade alone...UCLA twice, OU twice, FSU, Clemson, VT, USF not to mention Penn State and Georgia Tech coming up in the next couple of years. Now I know LSU had some good match-ups earlier this decade, I'm questioning last year and this year....weakest OOC schedule those two years in the SEC, including Vandy. That's just sad.

--------------------------------------------------

so is the amount of sec and national titles bama has in that decade.

seriously though. what was bama's record in those games?

secondly, when you are already at the top or close to the top of the bcs year in and out, you dont have to have a tough ooc schedule to make alot of noise. just win the sec and play cupcakes to finish out and you get to the big game. so why would we risk when its not really as necessary for us as it would be for bama or arizona or someone like that. also, USC has to schedule at tough ooc schedule because the pac 10 is so weak.
