I know, it seems so ridiculous. I can't blame anyone though because I am guilty. I spent the last hour going through tweets, facebook, and forums. I'll be glad when it's over so I can start being an adult again. I caught myself analyzing a tweet he made about an auburn commit today (indicated they were friends in some way) thinking that's good for LSU since the auburn guy wouldn't like bama.
This Collins decision has me completely captured. I have to say that the most compelling thing right now seems to be his mom being upset. I suppose we don't know it for sure, but it does seem like a logical way to read those tweets he made.
LSU hints
some recruiting experts have a good feel (though dandy don rescinded his good feeling today);
Hg made a comment that nobody can see now, but people feel good after they saw it;
avery johnson says we are getting a commit on thursday;
his gf seems to be upset with him somehow based on tweets.
Bama hints
some experts say he is committing there;
gf loves bama;
mom isn't making the decision (we are construing this as her being upset with him for picking bama)

I would love to be wrong but his recruitment reminds me of Rueben Randle. He was wavering to the end and finally announced at his school. LC was going to put it off but "other factors" seem to want him to decide now.
Just sounds to me like $abun and his supporting casthave really mesmerized this kid. If I'm correct, I wish the kid well and hope enjoys his life in bammer land. Where every year there is a chance the guy who promised the world may not be there the following year.....and/or may process him like so many others.

This is the one thing that i want to eat crow about. With Randle, i always had a feeling he was coming to LSU. Just have a bad feeling with LC.

I can't get a good feel one way or the other.
I think RR was a more important recruit based on what the team needed at that time...so there was more hype around it.
Both LSU and Alabama are stacked in the secondary, so it won't make or break either program's secondary. Will he be a star among many great players? Perhaps, only time will tell ?

The thing that has me is that everything has been so OVER THE Top, that its almost like they are playing everyone...The Admission Certificate,Tattoo, twitter...If you are going to screw someone you STFU, so it does make me think its LSU, despite all the bravada....but who knows
