I have a serious question. All this stuff about LC and his girl friend made me wonder. You guys think that the Bama coaches tell him stuff like "Man you don't want some other guy hitting that while your all the way at LSU." I wonder if they go that low. I could see Nick Saban telling him that.

Handsome Harry, Bama has used negative recruiting in the past. Instead of solely selling their own program they will bash others.
I wouldnt put anything past bama. Look here how the bama coach is taking 100% of the credit for julius peppers at the 2:18 mark in the video.

I don't get this one. But what is more likely is saban pointing out that we have has 2 number 1 safety's since he left. 1 went in the 3rd round and one has seen the field sparingly (jones and loston) Francois was the #4 safety coming out and Taylor might go undrafted.
Something like that. Even though, Reid is first round material, Taylor was lower rated, Francois was a tweener and jones could barely bench 185 before moffitt could do work, and loston has to red shirt because of injury but will still get playing time in the next 2 years. I have seen loston rated in the third on some draft board RIGHT NOW. Not to mention our staff and cooper IMO, is better then sabans staff
He has no doubt used this against us, even though Landon is gifted enough to be first round wherever he goes, much like Reid. I would bet the house that Reid gets drafted higher then Barron will when he comes out.
Landon hopefully can see through the BS

You're gut feeling comes from nothing more then sabans recruiting capabilities, which is understandable.
This is what is making lsu fans nervous, fear/respect of sabans recruiting

I think this stuff is used by any coach that recruits.
I was just curious if coaches at Bama would stoop low enough to try and make LC think there is a possibility of his girl friend leaving him or finding another guy if he wasn't at the same school as her. That seems pretty harsh but it wouldn't surprise me if it happened

If it came through to lsu's end and he called and committed, then a decision has been made.
He couldve not informed the bama coaches yet though, in which case, no decision has been made as far as they are concerned
