how is it reasonable? That was the point of this thread. Your "gut feeling" is not reasonable.

How is it unreasonable? Clearly Rueben Randle is interested in Bama, clearly Nick Saban is an exceptional recruiter and clearly Bama is having a more successful season than LSU (further, Bama has improved greatly from last year to this year, while LSU has essentially regressed across the board). If I were in Randle's position, without strong attachment to LSU, I would definitely give strong consideration to Bama.

That's not too hard considering Bama went 7-6 or something last year and we won a NC. Realistic fans knew we were going to regress this year when RP was dismissed. The only question was how much.

I'm disappointed that none of the guys that have said that Randle was heading to Bama haven't posted in this thread.

I'll assume this is directed at me...regardless of my numerous attempts to show you that I never said that I thought RR was headed to Bama.

It was not to be expected that we would regress across the board, and within the season (play from several players has really dropped off).

Its speculation, that is it. Everyone has the doomsday scenario simply because hes quiet, yet in the few interviews hes done, people ignore the positives and subtle things he mentions towards LSU. At one point I'd say he was a LSU lock but I think hes much more open now but is still LSU's to lose, IMO. Bama's style of offense can't really be argued it better suits him, especially since LSU runs a spread and has a great track record of putting WRs in the NFL. Also, these guys were developed under Miles, not Saban. Bowe, Davis, Doucet were all developed by Miles and staff. Lets not forget Lafell is looking like a future first rounder. LSU just ran a lot this year due to the inexperience at QB. Bama has JPW starting and hes mediocre as hell, how good can their QB situation be next year?

I promise that you don't need to be throwing us gimmies. Your retarded arse can't help but shine through in your posts.

And I guess all the other high profile guys that we have signed are just "anomilies."

about the way the team fared? Hell no, because that's all you've ever done since you began posting here. Finally something that you "predicted" comes to fruition, you want credit for it?
Please. Again, you belong on the Rant. I just wish there were some way to keep guys like you away from reasonable discussions.

I thought Oklahoma had a good shot at RR. Didn't he go to the last 2 ou games? They are putting up 60 a game....

They have as good of a shot as the other four teams in his top five. I believe you're right that he was scheduled to visit Oklahoma for their last two games.

I thought he had axed Miami from the top 5. Wasn't it Michigan?

You may be right. I swear I thought it was Miami though. I could be getting confused with who his brother likes.

I looked at scout and rivals and scout has Miami, not Michigan under his interest list. Rivals has both on his list. I searched for the thread that was on here about his top 5 but couldn't find it.

I'm going to take out the schools I named since I'm wrong so I won't confuse anyone.

i figured he'd go to the pass happy big 12.

my buddy does business with the dealership RR dad works at. His dad told my buddy "who is going to throw it to him?" just looking at our QB situation this year, why would a big time reciever want to go to LSU?

unless RS can do some major league convincing, i think RR will be getting blasted on this sight come national signing day.

Our QB situation will be fine next year. We'll be better off than Bama, and Bradford will be gone after RR's true freshmen year.

By the time RR is a true sophomore at LSU, we'll be competing for a NC.

Bradford is gone this year. 2009 will be the last big guarantee money for nfl draft players.

Is anybody interested in starting a whole new forum site where moderation is setup so that ranting is not permitted? Not saying abandoning this site at all just another option where it is kept as you put it to "reasonable discussions".

Luke, tigergumbo.com did an update on him (last one I've seen for him) and he said his top 5 was LSU, Alabama, USC, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State
