He recruited well at Ole Miss. So much so that Nutt beat us his first two years at Ole Miss.
.....and how many SEC games did Coach O win while at Ole Miss for 3 years with these wonderful recruits? As much as people are saying all of these 3stars will end up being 4 stars. It is more likely that some of our 4 stars will end up being 3 stars. You are sticking your head in the sand if you don't think LSU's recruiting is the same as it has been for the past 15 years. LSU is going to easy way out and trying to fill out this class before August.

Ehhh, he's already won more SEC games at LSU than he did at OM in 3 years. Miles was a Tard and pretty average at OSU and look how he did...... The offensive brains of his operation at OSU is still there........We traded a recruiting Oline coach for a stud recruiting Dline coach.

So then if we traded a recruiting Oline coach for a "stud" recruiting DLine coach, why is the recruiting getting worse and not better? I am sure his Binder didn't say "The first year we will out recruit Tulane and Memphis for a bunch of 3Star recruits."

Bro. It's June. Recruiting is extremely fluid. Can we wait until February before deciding that recruiting is getting worse?

star system doesn't mean shite! Watch the film
Please tell Saban this so he can quit recruiting all those 4 & 5 star players finishing #1 in the nation every year in recruiting. Getting all this talent every year has nothing to do with all their title appearances.

You are delusional if you think all the theee stars will be bumped up to four and five stars. A couple may get bumped but not all of them lol.

We need a roster full of High Football IQ, High Character, Gym Rat, workout warrior, students of the game who will work hard and be able to understand and execute an offense/defense and play team football.
Not to mention will stay for their senior year and develop.
that ain't gonna beat bama

I don't get why there is so much negativity.
because we aren't going to overtake Bama with a bunch of 3 stars (where maybe 1/3 become low-mid 4s)
the biggest selling point of why we picked a horrible coach like O was he was supposed to get our recruiting to Bama-like levels
so far that's been a big fail

A lot of these guys are borderline 4-star caliber players. Don't get too caught up in the rankings.
Most top 10 classes bring in around 8-12 3 stars per class.

Why aren't all you recruiting gurus employed by the best P5 programs?
Some stupid arses!

2015 when we picked up Guice... we had 8 three star and 5 two stars (per Rivals) and still managed to rank 8th in recruiting (again per Rivals) that year. Some of these guys will go up and some will drop off... Although it would be nice to have another Guice in Baton Rouge this year.

I was hoping for a top 5 class and I do not think that is over zealous for me to expect this.
Last years top 5 recuriting classes and the number of 3 star players:
1. Bama= 5
2. Ohio State= 2
3. Georgia= 6
4. USC=9
5. Michigan= 8
There is a concern.

Some of these guys will not be a part of the class. As soon as better players at their position decide to commit, the lesser guys will be cut from the list.
I don't like it at all, but some teams do it. I think if you accept a commitment, you honor it unless there are academic or disciplinary issues, but this just isn't lining up that way.Heck, we have enough wide receivers alone on the board to fill out the numbers if they commit. Orgeron wouldn't dump one of these lesser guys for an offensive tackle?
Again, you'll see some of the present recruits disappear. I don't like it, and you burn some bridges with high school coaches, but it's going to happen. We'll see 4 or 5 of these guys disappear before signing day, and it won't be their choice. That's wrong.

The delusion on y'all.. my word.. calling me delusional frick you. I say this knowing someone who does the rankings with 247. Knowing who will get bumped and when arse hole. Going to camps and evaluating these kids to send back to these 247 guys so pick your battles on who knows this shite. I go to all of these, talk to the guys, know every prospect we're after and what the situation is. Not to come come cockyish I'm just sick of hearing it. A good number of our guys will be moved up and some greatly. Got one in the UA game possibly so he will get a big bump. Please stop freaking out and comparing our class to Sabans mostly bought classes. This class will surprise a lot of you dumbasses

Stop trying to convince them. They will bitch no matter what. We have had stellar classes and still lost to teams which recruit like we are this year.
Some people only look at stars. We finally have coaches in place to make good players look great. These guys recruited are good players.
They could at least let this recruiting season play out before proclaiming failure. Guess they can't.

Went to upvoye and somehow hit downvote... big upvote for sure haha. Shoulder surgery is my excuse I guess but anyways I agree. Let the process play out. They'll get bumped, players will decommit, and we'll get a few ballers. Seems like they have to bitch about something. Seriously are y'all fans from other teams on here just to troll? It's a lot more fun on the rant pleaseeeeeee go post there and try
