i think richardson is better, but ford is still pretty damn good. he's a top 100 player and one of the top 5 backs in the country. they'll both be great in college. i think ford will be a slightly faster version of scott with a little more wiggle

Wow, some high school numbers. Cecil Collins was the best college back I have ever seen. He was the total package. Look, according to Rivals Ford runs a 4.56 in the forty. Cecil was much faster than that, I can assure you. He is not the next coming of Cecil.

I'm not that old, but if you watch the few games that Cecil played before he broke his leg, he was unstoppable.

Nah Cecil ran about a 4.5 in the forty. Him and Ford are about the same speed Cecil just had better vision.

I saw both play A LOT and Cecil is the better back but Ford will be better before it is all said and done at LSU. This kid is special, and SUPER underrated.

And on top of all that he will never cause any trouble. He is a great kid.

Obviously both TR and MF were great in highschool. Not one person on this board can say which will be better in 3 years. They are similar but TR looks a bit quicker and MF looks a bit stronger. On third and inches with the game on the line...I personally like MF. If any of you followed recruiting for more than this year, MF (pre-injury) was rated as a potential top RB in the US. He lost some ground after his injury but still made the climb within a hair of a 5 star rating. If anyone is doubting his ability, they don't know shite about football. To say that TR is better is pure homer speculation. I'm also not saying that BMF is better than TR. That's his official nickname as of right now...BMF!

Dead wrong.

"RB Cecil Collins, (Ex-McNeese St.) and 4.42 seconds"

I have no idea what kind of shape he was in for pro day, but 4.42 is very fast for a back with his kind of power.

Very similar types of backs, with richardson looking to be a little bigger. i give a slight nod to richardson, but he is going to take some punishment until bama can find a QB.

"Collins, 5-foot-10, 208 pounds, worked with a personal trainer when he got out of jail in January. At the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, he clocked a 4.41 in the 40-yard dash after only six weeks of training. "

There is the full article on Collins from SI.
