Did LF move up to #1 today on espn300? I ask because I saw the below tweet earlier this morning even though it wasn't mentioned it in this thread:

@BFeldmanCBS Big RB Leonard Fournette is ESPN's new #1 recruit and one of 3 Louisiana kids in the top 8.

This guy just must not have seen ESPN's original 150 release. Leonard was #1 in ESPN's first 2014 release back in April.

Thanks. That's what I thought, but I wasn't sure. Feldman is usually pretty good with info, but he must have gotten their rankings confused with one of the other services that didn't have LF #1...

Looks like he just missed it. The #300 overall guy is a DE like Clark and is ranked as the 27th best DE, and Clark is ranked as the 29th best DE, so one can assume that Clark was just outside the top 300.

If and when he commits to us, he will get the infamous LSU bump....we might not want to admit it, but it's present....lol

Very true. Chark's being at 278 shows this bump pretty well. Also happened with Rhaheed and several others in this years class like Upchurch and prior years too. But it sounds better to say that the recruiting sites don't like us

I know I will get crucified for this, but I think Noil is going to be a bust. I don't think he will translate to the SEC game or LSU. I don't think he will make the transition from qb to wr well. I hope I'm wrong if he goes to LSU.

Although I disagree with you 100%, I just want to know what makes you feel this way? Did you not see the same film that I saw? Or look at the raw speed on "Speedy"?

Noil is very similar to Early Doucet, and he was no bust. And if utilized properly, like a Percy Harvin type position where he gets bubbles, screens, quick slants, handoffs, etc., he will do very well.

I disagree totally. I want Noil on our side because he is special with the ball in his hands.
