You are not a LSU fan so why don"t you go to your teams web site and post garbage. A tulane fan if I ever heard one.

You people don't understand that it is a whole hell of a lot easier to get another running back than to find another QB ready to take over.

Exactly. Nothing but bonus for LSU.

Eh, I guess, but I don't like it. Too much baggage and just sets a bad precedent. Every goofball kid will start having personal trainers and "mentors." Reminds me of Baron Davis and his personal trainer with the Hornets.

I guess I'm old school. I don't like the way this kid or his family has handled his recruiting and think he's way more trouble than he's worth. If he comes in, shuts his mouth and they never hear from the mentor guy again, then maybe it will work out. Hopefully that's the case, but you have to be a major homer if you don't see red flags all over this guy.

I can understand some flags but don't come on here and badmouth the kid or his parents. It doesn't help and only hurts.

Come on, if a player really chooses not to go to a school because of what someone posts on a message board they have issues.

Anyway, everyone here defending him would be posting nothing but negatives if he wasn't considering LSU and his list was Alabama, USC, and Tennessee.

If it works out, fine. I'd love for LSU to get a player of his caliber- if he's really that good. But I think at a program such as LSU, you're better off staying away from this kind of kid. It's not like this is a desperate team that needs to take chances. But if Miles isn't worried about it, so be it. He knows more than I do and I totally trust his judgment.

You are wrong. Nobody was even posting about him (one way or the other) at all until he decided to look at LSU.

So, UL it sounds as if you know a lot about Bryce and his family. Why don't you fill us in by telling us what you know first-hand about the Brown family versus what you have read?

I don't know, but it's been pretty quiet on the reports given so far being that the #1 prospect in the country is here... hmmmm

Volnation has 3644 replies to their BB thread

Here is one on the last page:
My friend who goes to LSU saw Bryce Brown at their regular bar called bogies last night. He was texting me a lot of the time. He said Bryce was not drinking and did not look like he was having a good time at all. He also said that Bryce's friend who went with him on the visit got in a fight at the bar with a LSU student too. He said that he's pretty sure he's going to UT as well.

FWIW

I want this kid so terribly bad. He seems like a very good guy and a great player.

Why don't they just get Kiffin to call up Bryce Brown since he now knows that's not against the rules. Anyone who chooses Tenn. over LSU is an idiot
