I can believe that Randle's choices have come down to OU, Alabama, and LSU. I personally think LSU would/should be at the top of the list however. I think it will come down between OU and LSU.

Alabama doesnt have top notch receivers and I would think Randle would want to join a top-notch receiving corp. Alabama mainly just has Julio Jones and it would be him and Randle. Randle would feel pressurized to perform well every game which is something he said he does not want.

OU has a great receiving group however, I would think Randle would want to win championships and OU hasnt won a BCS game since 2002 (I believe). With Sam Bradford coming back, I think that is a good reason why that choice is at the top of the list.

For LSU, it helps that Brandon Lafell is coming back and I would think Randle would want to learn from him and be with a great veteran receiver. Randle has the chance to get some great playing time this year if he choose LSU and possibly start; he would be with Terrance Toliver, Brandon Lafell, DeAngelo Peterson, and Russell Shepard (look for him to get some reps as a wide out...you can count on that).

The best part is that the facilites and the learning center are all part of what Saban helped to bring to LSU, and now it will hamper his abilities to recruit a kid away from LSU for quite some time.
Man, you gotta love that!!

OIT

My thoughts......I've been saying for weeks that I think he'll pull the trigger early and not wait until NSD, despite his saying that he WILL wait until NSD. It just sounds as though he does NOT want all that attention, AND that he'd like to get this over with.

I hope you're right!!!

I love how in the comments of the article somebody suggests Randle go to ULM, La Tech or Grambling.

That's pretty funny.

Supposedly.

I just saw that but I'm gonna wait til reliable sources confirm it to put it up as "what we know."

If he does visit.........and I mean no offense to Auburn......it will be a token visit solicited by Coach Taylor who recruited him to Okie State. Auburn will not be a player.

Malzahn was at his house yesterday. It was his father that stated he would be visiting AU. RR would be a monumental pick up for AU. He would be featured and the go to guy immediately next year. More than Julio this year. I think as much as we may throw, even with an average qb, he would put up nice numbers next year and be all SEC freshman team with ease.

That said (and nothing against LSU), but I think OU is in the lead right now.

Where'd he say that?

Yes, but I'd just about bet anything it's not gonna happen.

He's stated numerous times, he doesn't want that. He says he absolutely does not wanna be the go to guy.

What QB exactly? No matter how good Randle is, the ball has to get TO him.

OU is in the lead right now

They're the ones I'm worried about most but I just think we sealed it up with the in-home and can close it out with this visit this weekend (but I could be wrong of course). By the way, I don't think Stoops has had his in-home with Randle yet, right?

Again, nothing against Auburn. Ive been trying to be as rational and non-homer about this recruitment as possible. Auburn just doesn't scare me in the least.

I understand that and as I said, I think he is a long shot for AU. I am happy he is giving us a look however.

Thanks for the link!

That's the one I had seen as well. Just waiting to hear from someone who talks to Randle or his father before I put it in the beginning of this thread.

It's not worth much... but I hope it's more right than what I've heard in the last couple of days.
