If we end up with Randle and Benton, will it be the first time 2 5 start WRs from the same high school went to the same college as true freshman?

Wow, you don't do something like this unless you are very serious about going to LSU. I think this is a very good sign.

Yeah, back on track. I see last night this thread turned into a bit of a cat fight.
Dandy Don claims Randle is coming in today. Who knows if it's true or not. But I'll certainly update here if it gets confirmed.
If he is here, can't be anything but beneficial.

Anyways, this article was posted in another thread below. It's an interesting one and I take 3 things from it:

* He apparently is coming to Baton Rouge today (thursday). GREAT news.
* Tennessee is trying to get in on him. Do NOT freak out. I don't see that happening this late in the process as methodical as Randle has been in the process.

I feel more confident in Randle being an LSU Tiger than ever. I still think it's likely that he'll wait to NSD to commit, but I feel like there's more of a chance now that he'll make his decision known sometime next week.

hard to imagine him giving them much consideration, since he can't even make an official visit, huh? although, I heard from a high school coach that getting him some traveling money some crooked way wouldn't be new business for some of the high stakes recruiters they have up there now!!
anyway, if he's taken all these visits, and still is undecided, I can't see him choosing a school he's not seen, and a coach he's just now met.
