You obviously didnt get the memo on our Co-Def. coordinators last year and how poor of a job they did. We loss our D-Coord (Peleni)the year before. He was replaced internally with 2 subpar coaches. Both those coaches were let go. All we did was hire one of the best D-Coord. in the SEC and College Football. One of the Best Secondary Coaches and the D-line coach from the Bears.

When you speak of the only difference is JJ. Surely you have to admit he is much more formidable than Lee. If you had to choose our QB for us this year, Im pretty sure you would be much more comfortable seeing Lee and not JJ.

That being said, with a QB like JJ, we will be able to use our stable of weapons that we both know LSU has. The only reason we couldnt use them last year is because Lee put a leash on them.

LSU could have easily had 7 losses last year just like Aub.

i love ridiculous hypotheticals like this. LSU won 8 games, beat auburn on the road, and blew out a ranked BCS opponent in a solid bowl game. when is the last time auburn blew out a ranked team in a bowl game?

defensive coordinators. you obviously don't follow college football closely if you aren't aware of the defensive changes at LSU

Actually, I do. He's listed at H-Back/slot receiver. Nice try though.

The point is he's not a great player anyway. Pretty good, sure, but not great.

Heck, I'm not sure you have one great player on your entire team.

that's not the point. All i hear on this board from lsu fans is how horrid Aub was last year. LSU has no room to talk about looking horrible last year

There were times last year when lsu looked absolutely horrid just like there were times Aub looked horrid

but not one time did auburn look so bad that their own entire fanbase had to get up and leave the stadium.

Did auburn look bad last year? of course, but lsu did too.

both did look bad, though auburn looked a lot worse, esp considering the way the season ended. Huge difference being LSU had and continues to have a shite load more talent, and improved a ton w/ the defensive hires, while Auburn's new HC owns a 10 game losing streak in one of the worst BCS divisions in the country.

99% of people are talking about next year and the future dude. We have much more talent than you do at QB, WR, OL, DT, etc etc.

How about no.

QB - At least yougot that right
RB - No changes
FB - New starting FB
TE - Only changes will be minor, possibility of DeAngelo Peterson being a primary backup receiving TE
WR - Starting WR Byrd is gone. Terrance Toliver to step in for him. Reuben Randle added to the mix
OL - C Helms and LG Johnson are gone. Hebert to step in at C and Dworacyzk to step in at LG.
DL - 4 New starters in Alem and Levingston at end and Woods and Nevis at tackle.
LB - 2 New starters in Coleman at OLB and Cutrera at MLB.
S - 2 New starters in Jones at FS and Brooks at SS.
CB - Same as last year.

Defensive Staff - Entirely replaced from last year with Chavis (DC/LB), Cooper (DB) and Haley (DL).

So yeah, you are pretty much entirely wrong.

i rather have a bunch of good solid players...than a couple of great ones..even though auburn is lacking that on the o-line....but that can be taken care of with some good recruting efforts by the coaches.....I have faith that it will with the way they have been on the grind!

Are you serious? How is there "no way" you lose to them after you just lost to them by 17 points? You think they have no shot? Auburn sucks in OOC games.

f'n retarded. LSU has several great ones and a ton of good ones. So does every team that competes for the SECC

Think of Jarrett Brown their QB as a Matt Flynn. 5th year senior with a bit of experience. Following up a very good previous starter at QB.

Caudle is garbage and you know it. He wasn't impressive coming out of HS and can't even seperate himself from that safety that thinks he's a QB

i mean he may shock the world, but how can you hype a kid who couldn't beat out cox, todd, and burns?

*ETA: if JJ didn't beat out lee last year, i'd be worried about LSU, even though lee showed a lot more than todd or burns
