would be more surprised if Caudle set the world on fire than i would be if he sucks worse than death.

LSU is one play away from Jarrett Lee being their QB
LSU won 8 games in its worst season in a decade w/ a freshman inexperienced Lee and no defensive coaching.

let's qualify "improved QB play"

AU's ranks in passing

ypg: 99th
efficiency: 106th

even if they jump something massive like 30 spots, they'll be ranked 69th and 76th

Well he is a year older and hopefully a year better.

if lee takes a step forward (which anyone would expect going from a RS frosh to a RS soph), he'll be solid

he had some bad plays, but he threw for 16 TDs

burns threw 2 TDs and 7 picks i believe

lol at qb auburn has no place to go but up as i see it....and some of u say that yall have improved on defense because of better coaches i agree.... just like i think we have improved on offense because of better coaches already...franklin called the same plays over and over again... i think we can all agree that malzahn is a proven good coordinator

You were saying the same thing about Franklin last year as you are about Malzahn now. So it's not nearly as cut and dry. Again, the difference is LSU has talent on defense, while AU doesn't have much on offense.

I don't know why Auburn fans diss on Lee so bad. He'd be starting for them this year.

In the conf USA. Not the SEC. Dale called the plays when he was at Arky.

Your offense definitely has nowhere to go but up...however, Franklin is just as proven as a OC as Malzahn is to this point.

Its a valid excuse anytime its true. But i remember AU fans thinking Franklin was a God this time last year.

LSU fans were skeptical of the co-coordinators.

i'll give them credit in that this staff will support malzhan

both are similar. HS legends who failed in the SEC (franklin coached in the SEC before last year), went to the mid-level, did well, and then came back to the SEC with anger at "the system"

i think franklin's offense is more suited for the SEC though. just my opinion

Last year, Gus Malzahn's Tulsa offense put up mords yards against Arky than any other SEC school did

and almost twice as much than LSU did, and they're a CUSA team

So what your saying is you should beat Arky next year?

You could have said the same thing the year before about Franklin's Troy offense's performance against Georgia.

And what you fail to mention is they put up 23 points. Whoopie.
