There was a recruiting battle between us and our most hated division rival. We lost it. There is nothing wrong with discussing why we lost a prized in-state kid to our hated rival on the pertinent board.

That's what its here for.

Doesn't mean we believe the sky is falling or that we can't win championships without that particular recruit. But constructive criticism can be just that - constructive.

LOL at Bama fans now thinking they'll get every uncommitted LA prospect. They cant believe Hootie is that naïve to make his own decision no matter what CR did.

This may have not been directed at you...but all of the whining and threads being started about having loyalty to Louisiana or "we should have offered Sims" is not necessary.

We take big time prospects from all over the country but we are the first to complain when someone comes here and takes one of ours.

And I truly will never understand this line of thinking. Ever.

You want to go to Bama, that's fine.
Stop making a production out of it.
Stop all the attention and espn press conferences and taking the hat out of the bag.
That's the problem.

LSU will be fine, it's the Josh Dworaczyk's and Jacob Hester's and Bennie Logan's that make the leaders of most teams anyway.

Let me just speak my mind about this for just a second. I am God damn tired of hearing this. When we loss top recruits from this state and more so they go to Alabama, we have every damn right in the world to be butthurt, pissed, however you want to word it. When other states loss their top players to us, that is their problem and not ours. We except them with more than open arms as those schools and fans do to our players. It works both ways always has always will and we as LSU fans are no different than any other fan base in this country. Thanks for listening

This x1000. Absolutely. Why can't LSU be thought of in such high regard that not only do we keep our in-state talent on lock down, we also go around the country and steal other's. Absolutely right, if we steal someone else's talent that's "their problem." We won out over them. They should do something about that if they don't want it to continue to happen.

That's the ideal scenario, is it not? New coaches trying to build programs from the ground up always repeat "we have to focus on locking down our home state first."

If we got a commit from the #1 offensive linemen in the nation from the state of Alabama, would it be seen as a shocker or would it just be "meh, it happens."

This is very true The sting is leaving already and that is life and the way it goes. It was the same thing after we lost Dunn to Fla St, Minor to Fla St, McKnight to USC, Collins to Bama. We are just a little over 24 hours so the bleeding is slowing stopping.

After seeing how Robinson's acting now, Saban will have a hard time getting him to reach his potential, I think.

Im sure Texas is thrilled that Paris and possibly Brown are coming to LSU. Im sure Ok St and Oklahoma are thrilled that Clark is coming to LSU. Ole Miss- Voorhies. etc...it happens to everyone. It's ridiculous that some people get so worked up over one recruit. We have a ton of high-quality depth at O-line already.

I agree he knew that he was going to ALABAMA for months but didn 't he recently tweet to the effect that he didn 't know why LSU fans thought he was a Bama lock.

Was this just to try get us to watch him rub it in our faces on national television?
