I respect whatever decision they make. It will still piss me off if he chooses to go somewhere other than LSU. Forgive me if that's not politically correct, but I am an LSU fan after all. This is not life or death, this is football, and it's ok to get pissed about things that affect the LSU football team as an LSU football fan on an LSU message board.

You're making this out to be a more serious topic than it is. He will choose a school. The school he chooses will be happy. The school he doesn't won't. There's nothing wrong with either emotion in regards to this topic. That's college football recruiting and hence the reason we're both on this message board.

+1

From everything I can gather, he wants to be a Tiger and needs more time to go toe-to-toe with his dad's wishes.

Keep in mind, I'm no private investigator, but this is what the clues I've seen are leading me to believe.

Doesn't mean it's not wildly incorrect, though.

He's just saying that you will learn as you get older, Tigerbite, that actions have consequences. You will understand one day. You're a young guy and will see things more clearly in a few years.

I completely agree. And if he wants to make a decision in a week, he has that right. He shouldn't have any regrets. If his dad is in fact the one against LSU and RR needs time to not make a decision to go to OU or Bama and instead go to LSU, this should be well received by everyone. Instead you have a bunch of people on here that think the decision has been made or the decision is theirs to make.

My opinion of Randle has just dropped precariously. If he doesn’t have the confidence in his ability, then maybe LSU isn’t the right place for him.

I kinda feel the same.

Yeah, but you're gay.

You may be a little more zealous than the rest of us.

In the end, I hope he's a tiger, but if not, whatever, I won't lose sleep. If there is any position we can afford to lose, it's WR.

I do have to be honest about one thing. If my dad went on the radio and basically said I was a bitch and afraid of competition, I'd be pissed. I mean, me and my paw would have had it out. Whether its a game or "softening the blow" as some have suggested, he's made his son look like a little bitch. Dude didn't completely think this shite out.

I mean...

IF anyone DECEIVS the state school in any way, BAD MOUTHS the state school in any way.....Not saying any of this happened, but if it did.....the consequences of that trespass is being spoken negatively of.

That's life.

I get to make the decision, and he is going to LSU, like it or not! PERIOD!

I know that going to the best football program in the country isn't what you wanted son, but you will serve my wishes!

Who says I'm young? I said I spent the first 25 years of my life in BR. I never said how old I was. And honestly, by some of the posts on here, some of you will understand one day that other's lives are other's lives....a maybe one day some of you will respect that.

The idea that I will see clearly one day is laughable...look in the mirror rantards.

So RR doesn't want to compete against DB. It could be that he is afraid of the competition. OR, it could be that RR believes he will win that battle and doesn't want to limit his friend DB's opportunities.

I agree that the timing of all of this sucks. Possibly a reporter leaked some info which forced Dad's hand.
