He's going to AU to let Malzahn show him how his offense works, so he can tell Saban all about it when he signs with Bama.

Randle is in fact NOT taking an Auburn visit.

He actually is, but he definitely won't even come close to being a commit.

well I guess reports such as the one below are just lies

Bastrop High School coach Brad Bradshaw, said today that new Auburn wide receiver coach Curtis Luper visited Reuben Randle this week. Randle is projected as the top receiver prospect in the country.

Randle planned to visit Oklahoma State this weekend, but Rivals.com reported this morning he is now visiting Auburn instead. Luper was hired by Gene Chizik this past week. Looper was the receivers coach at Oklahoma State this past season.

not a lie, just mis-informed.

As of early this afternoon his dad said they were staying home this weekend.

I trust his dad more than a random article.

Try the US Army All Star game instead! Also, on ESPN, RR is number 10 and on Scout number 15, but on Rivals he's number 1!

Must be something in the water?

Well, even though we have the sorriest paper in the country in the Daily Oklahoman, they are usually pretty accurate in such things and an article this am says that he is indeed going to visit AU instead of Okie St.
Personally, I'd put some merit into and be concerned about this as Trooper Taylor was the receivers coach at Okie St. and is now at AU and Malzahn is bringing in his wide-open pass happy o. Makes more sense for RR to go to AU than to Bama if he wants to go somewhere other than LSU for that type of game.
Not only that but I've been to AU and to Okie St. and even though both are red-headed step children in their respective states, if I had to make a choice I'd pick AU. Both are backwards but at least AU does have a bit of a forward gear, albeit slow!
