The RR rumor is that RR will commit to Bama on Wednesday.

That rumor was posted from and LSU fan Loogaroo? Lives near Hayes La? He claimed that he OC at Bastrop leaked it to him

I have not heard the Bama boards rumor about it...

The whole thing is Silly isn't it? Somebody makes a claim and people like myself get a little worried...But no one else has caught wind of the rumor that is an "insider" so I think I will pass on getting worried about Wednesday

It's beneath silly. Several homers will be on here Wednesday night gushing and posting with relief and the rest of us will be laughing at them.

It is what it is.

I think some are overly confident in this situation.

RR is a smart kid and knows our situation.

I would say that I never met a smart kid in high school, they are still sponges they take everything in they are told.

But RR is still going to UAB like I said 5 years ago after I watched his 8th grade game.

its definitely a weird business, im in it becasue of necessity but a lot of people get in it older after retirement to make some money and give them something to do.

So as far as football goes, its probably about even with Bama. Last I checked, they run the ball way more than they do passing because that is the type of team they are. LSU does the same but mostly because of our QB situation. It will be much more balanced in the future.

We are breaking in our QB this year.....Bama will be doing it next.

I think this is in our favor.....

which city is closer to his family, BR or Tuscaloosa?

According to Google maps - from Bastrop...

Driving directions to Baton Rouge, LA
208 mi – about 4 hours 31 mins

Walking directions to Baton Rouge, LA
193 mi – about 2 days 14 hours

Driving directions to Tuscaloosa, AL
326 mi – about 5 hours 0 mins

Walking directions to Tuscaloosa, AL
297 mi – about 4 days 1 hour

According to that, it takes just 29 minutes more to drive 118 more miles from Bastrop to Tuscaloosa.. What a difference the Interstate makes.

We gottem big in walking time, though
