NSD is still a long ways away. Every year there are guys that were preliminary members of the class that don't end up in the class. See Chuck Baker, Willie Ferrell, Dexter Blackmon, Storm Johnson, DC Jefferson, etc
Not saying that it will happen again in 2014 but it won't be surprising should it occur.

We've got to fill out the rest of the roster, plus what if there is a surprise and we don't get a guy we thought was a lock? We'd be left with nothing then.
The numbers are fine, you act like we just took a slew of low-level prospects and turned down Fournette/Dupre/Noil/etc.

Expectations for this class were mega high. There will be a lot of jimmies rustled when some guys we want decide to go elsewhere.

Fl observer is simply stating concerns. What is wrong with that. Enough under the radar camp offers. Lets go after kids who have proven themselves on the field the last 2 or 3 and have film to back them up - not just a 1 or 2 day desperation camp day.

First, the kid had a good day or two consecutive days and both of those days are much better athletically than any two days of your life.
Secondly, I understand your awkward point about getting more recruits like Mo Claiborne or Patrick Peterson. Athletes like those come around once a decade. If we wait for more like them, who will play DB.

Didn't Tyrann Mathieu get his offer after a very impressive camp performance?
I am certain LSU is not the only program who offers a player a full ride after a great camp; and
As another poster said, do you put more stock in recruiting gurus or college coaching staffs with several years of experience?

Hey its your opinion and I respect that but he did put a good outing consistently at camp against 4 and 5 star athletes. If he did not have much skill, it would of showed. Especially against the wide receivers we may end up with this year. Believe my friend and LSU will get the big fish too, no worries.
