No question that Ole Miss needs him badly, but does he need them? I have no idea of what he will do, but would you really rather play for Nix or Chavis in looking toward a future NFL career?

Haha...No doubt CJ is good and would help Ole Miss, but no way one linebacker makes the difference in a 5-7 team the way the heisman QB made a difference for Auburn. Retarded pitch there. Unless he has some weird family ties with Ole Miss, I DO NOT see who in their right mind would choose them over LSU. He can crack the starting lineups of both teams, and then LSU trumps Ole Miss in every other category

He liked the analogy with Cam. Nice move by Nutt.

LSU is a better fit, but it's up to the kid.

You guys are missing the Point. Nutt just used Cam as an example of a guy who came in and took a team to the next level. Nutt just said if CJ came to OM then during his time there he could take OM to the next level. You don't think every coach does this? It's a very common tactic.

Impact QB = apple
Impact LB = orange

I guess creative analogies are hard for most of you to understand. CJ understood it and and liked it. That is all that matters.

No, what we are calling is BS. A great QB can carry a team; not really for a LB. hopefully CJ is smart enough to see through the BS. I just hope LSU gets a visit then les can show him his lake..

You do realize how ghey that sounds don't you? You keep posting this info like it means something. I remember Cam shaking a cowbell in Starkville all weekend.

Better question, what color socks was he wearing?

There is only one answer to why he is so high on Ole Miss, and it is also similar to the the sales pitch Auburn used with Cam Newton.

That Ben Franklin is a strong recruiter I tell you. He can recruit for Auburn and Ole Miss at the same time

Perhaps he should think about going to a place where the coach who recruits will actually be there the following year.......if Nutt has a bad year he may be left to pack his bags.

This makes sense because why else would anyone choose to play at Ole Miss over LSU. Or it possibly could be a distance thing. His Mom is heavily involved in the process. How much closer is Oxford than BR fro Philly, MS?

I can understand him staying in-state, but this is the same team he was talking trash about after the Egg Bowl, and now says they are a strong leader.

Distance wise, LSU is like an extra 1.5 hours away from Philadelphia, MS than Ole Miss is. So instead of 2.5 hours to Ole Miss, it's a whole 4 hours to LSU
