Books, the same thing was said about Malzahn. The guy comes with attitude, and if he works with the QB's, he will definately help JJ make a decision.
I bet you don't have the gonads to tell Ensminger that he sucks to his face. If you do, I want to be around because the guy has been known to whip some behind in his day.

Okay, I don't really have any strong positive feelings regarding Ensminger but since just about everyone on here seems ready to bash him (a lot of whom probably have absolutely no knowledge whatsoever) I feel a need to inject another perspective into this festering stool of a discussion.
Yea, he has coached high school. But he was also a QB coach and/or OC for Louisiana Tech, Georgia, Texas A&M, and Auburn. For those of you whining about LSU possibly hiring the South Florida guy and missing out on someone with Texas ties, well, Ensminger does have Texas ties. Moreover, for those of you whining about LSU not hiring a second QB coach, well, Ensminger is a QB coach. For me, having two QB coaches is somewhat retarded but oh well.

I just got through reviewing the recruits that Ensminger hauled into Auburn. In years 2002-2005, Rivals does not maintain who recruited the kids. However, since then until 2008, Ensminger was responsible for the recruiting and commitments of:
5 star - Raven Gray DE - Wesson, MS (HS signed twice)
4 star - Enrique Davis RB - Lynn Haven, FL
4 star - Carlton Johnson LB - Lynn Haven, FL
4 star - Bailey Woods TE - Marietta, GA
4 star - Raven Gray DE - Enterprise, AL JUCO (signed twice)
4 star - Craig Stevens LB - Tallahassee, FL
and 6 three stars...
This should be a lesson to all of us...don't listen to Books because he doesn't know what the hell he is talking about...and is just another irrational Miles hater...

This is a billiant hire disguised as a TE coach...Miles can assist in coaching the TE's.
I'm cautiously otimistic about the hire of Ensminger. But, to say he can't recruit is utter BS...Sorry Books and others...the truth is he can recruit.
