Glad we are getting this last kid's visit. If that's what he said about MSU, I'm really liking our chances with him.

I had thought all along that he was going to MSU, and he still could, but it's starting to look more like and LSU/OM thing. It's recruiting, who knows...

Dude isn't going to leave Mississippi. I'm willing to bet on it. He'd be a huge steal though.

hehatedrew.. If you were in his shoes, where would you go?

Lesticles should setup camp in front of Jernigan and Johnson's lawn since he can get extra visits from recruits without a OC on the team.

That's not really fair to him, as I hate LSU with all of my heart
But seriously, I know what you are saying. LSU has a better program, It's just hard to say sometimes. I guess only time will tell...

We lose Shepp, need good LBers, are a top 3 team next year, have maybe the best LBer coach in the nation, have a 94,000 seat stadium. I mean not to be rude but OM and State have none of these things. It would be a no-brainer for me

He's not going back to MSU, from my gut and what that tidbit of the article said. If it's down to LSU and Ole Miss, I'm really glad we get his last visit. I really think he will be committing to LSU in a couple of weeks

Of course, as it would to most people, but it doesn't always work out that way, does it?

The majority of recruits, distance plays the biggest factor. Even with blue chip athletes. It is one reason LSU can lock Louisiana down relatively easy with no competition. He'll stay home and go to OM or MSU, IMO. Once he cools down about MSU losing their coach, he'll butter back up to them.

Nope, hence his comittment to State early in the process over LSU

Oh, and I agree with the other poster about distance from home. For some reason, especially with kids from the deep south, they don't want to get too far away from Mama. This is one of the main reasons why I always thought that he would go to MSU. It's really a guess as to where he goes now, but OM and LSU have good chances since he visits them later. As sad as it is to say this to a bunch of grown men about where a kid goes, good luck

Im gonna stop talking about him going to LSU b/c I dont wanna jinx it
. But Philadelphia is like 4 hours from LSU, not too bad at all

It's less than an hour from Starksville and around 2 from Oxford. My fiance's BIL and sister live there now. I make a living on the craps tables there every couple of months
