You're a fricking moron. All 3 of those guys are legit 5* players. Richardson is from Florida. The rant is one link up.

Fluker as an OT (raw and can't pass block). Should be a 6.0 4-star though as he was most of the year.

Nico Johnson is also arguable. Not an "Elite" level LB in the sense of a 5-star. Richardson is more than legit as is Dre Kirkpatrick.

And if you think I'm just being a homer I also think Janzen Jackson should be a 6.0 4-star.

You seem to be getting upset over me just posting up some facts.

Your facts are incorrect. Richardson is from Florida. Nico was the 2nd highest 4* in the rivals100 for a long time. Then he looked good in the UA game so he got bumped to being the 2nd lowest ranked 5*. Not that big of a jump.

Richardson is the #1 ranked RB on ESPN.

Fluker is the #1 ranked OT on ESPN.

Your just a hater who can't stand the fact that Bama recruits just as well as LSU now.

I'm from Andalusia originally, and didnt understand all the 5* (scout) hype around Nico. Both his older brothers were phenomenal athletes, so I figured he had the ability, I just never saw it personally the few times I watched him play. I think he played most of the season hurt, but the all-star game showed he had the instincts and quickness to be a pretty good college LB. I think he is a legit 5* now that I've seen him play healthy against the best competition in the all-star game.

I might be confusing that with Scout. Was he a 5 on there all year?

I coulda swore.

He has been a 5 on scout. He's been a top 25 guy on ESPN as well.

Fluker, Nico, and DJ are basically 5 stars on every site with the exception being Fluker on scout.

I never said he was from Alabama.

I just said he was arguable. Never heard much of anything about him all year and just doesn't look like an elite LB to me. Very good yes, elite no.

Richardson is the #1 ranked RB on ESPN.

And I said he deserved to be a 5-star.

Fluker is the #1 ranked OT on ESPN.

And the #25 OT on Scout.

Sorry, but he's simply not a 5-star. I already said he should be a 6.0 4-star...but in the All-Star game it was painfully obvious this was his first year as an OT. He got dominated by pass rushers.

Not a hater at all as I pointed out by saying I think an LSU player shouldn't be a 5-star as well. Just stating some interesting facts. Why has the State of Alabama suddenly boomed up so much and is starting to produce 5-star players like the state of Florida the past 2 years? Interesting timing wouldn't you agree?

So what about Davenport? Surely you must think he isn't a 5* player right?

They'll be closer than expected with these late surge of bumps

Why wouldn't he be? He dominated when he played and is huge. You do know he got hurt the last half of the season right?

I already said Janzen Jackson should be a 6.0 4-star. I'm not being a homer here at all.

It's a business. Why can Scout rank Bama's '08 class #1 and Rivals rank it #1 and yet you only think that Rivals is biased? Why does Josh Williford get bumped to a 3*?

Fluker sprained his knee and almost missed the all star game but you're not giving him any credit on that. That being said I don't completely disagree about fluker... he's very raw in pass blocking.

I follow Rivals, not scout. I have noticed a strange amount of (large) bumps this year, and last for State of Alabama players and Alabama players in general.

Are you going to sit here and not admit in the face of facts that at least State of Alabama talent is being a bit overrated? I mean come on, SIX 5-star players between this year and last year? This is after the state had THREE in the previous SIX classes.

Because they evaluated him? You know they give out 2-stars a lot of times for people they haven't evaluated...right?

Uhh, you haven't been paying attention to Bama's class then. Plus, they're still in on few big time guys. It will be a dogfight until signing day.

Higher rated maybe, but their class is no better now than it was a month ago.

They won't catch us.

Most Bammers think they will, though. But then again, I've had most of those Bammers also say that McCarron is a better prospect than Russell Shepard. Kinda sad.

It was quite clear Fluker is just raw in his ability at OT in pass blocking. To be expected from a 1st year player at that spot though, especially going against the nation's best.
