Former Texas player that is in the NFL tweeted that Herman told current players to stay away from him. Basically said the Texas coaches don’t care about the players and are fake. I think it was DeShon Elliot.

I, personnally, would be absolutely giddy with Johnson.

As I said in another post he has no glaring holes or weak spots. The road to starter could be a very short one (leaving out any depth chart).

If some of the services didn't put so much bias towards physical stats (if he was 2" taller) and NFL draft projections largely based of those physical stats (as a senior in HS) then he'd be a 5*.

He has very good, with the potential to be great, footwork and agility. And he has plenty of size. I also think this could be one of those play-any-position OLmen.

B4 Bradford how often did we get kids from that up north?

Barksdale, Ware, Pocic... just off top of my head. Lacouture from NE (that’s up there).

I think there was another DT too (but maybe that’s just Barksdale I’m thinking about who flipped to OL).

(Edit to correct typo)

The most recent experience with a blue chip Georgia recruit was a loss....Lorenzo Carter. And the staff spent a lot of time on him.

It would be nice to steal some top tier talent from Georgia but I wouldn't expect it or get my hopes up.

Minter, Shepard and Riley worked out well for us.

Sure hope we can get this guys attention. Man LSU could set themselves up nicely for year to come if we could get a couple of OTs of this caliber. I've been wanting LSU to recruit that position more seriously for a long long time.

Keep landing big time QBs/OL/DL/LB prospects and this team will be back in the top ranks real soon. Pile that talent up. When LSU is having to process 4* players our depth will be back and I can't wait. Get em O!

You might be thinking of Ego. He's from Maryland.

(there was George Brown too, from OH. Transferred to Miami)
