2025 LSU was #9

Preseason polls are garbage and irrelevant

They are fun to talk and rant about but I too am afraid they taint all the subsequent polls to follow. Once a team is ranked high, if it doesn't loose and doesn't play anybody it typically holds a top spot. Strength of schedule and losses vs highly ranked teams needs a little more work. Not sure what the solution is but no one will want to play tough out of conference teams with the current system.
