thats because randle will be at bama. haha

Probably, but I don't think it matters. I like LaFell, Toliver, and Peterson more at this point than any freshman, though Benton is probably like 24 years old by now.

Yeah, but there's really no logical reason for him to go. I just think he'll enjoy the current success over there more than the thought of staying in state and leading LSU back.

I don't think either Randle or Benton will be one of the three WRs out there.

Why exactly???? Benton and/or Randle could both be starters by SEC play. Toliver is going to be a beast but Randle and Benton are beasts now. Lafell will start 4 sure, both mitchells will be beat out, Benton was a beast two years ago and i think he will start, and for 3rd spot it will be Toliver or Randle. Deangelo Peterson and Chris Tolliver will also see the field.

Lots to look forward to in the future at WR. My only concern is the talent isn't being developed well enough by DJ McCarthy at this point. We have a lot of dropped balls, poorly ran routes, and just bonehead decisions (like playing Chris "all I can do is run in a straight line" Mitchell in there over Terrance). It's concerning considering the talent.

For me, it's mostly because we'd be losing the top player in the state for 2/3 years and this time it's the #1 player to a team we play every single year. I don't think Rueben is a Julio or AJ type of gamebreaker, but the dude is an incredible talent.

There's no sense in him going to Bama. Their senior QB this year barely threw 2,000 yards, had only 9 TDs, and only completed 57% of his passes. Next year, their running game will dominate their offense again with Coffee, Minor, and Richardson at RB (plus 3 O-line starters). They'll have another guy who's sole job is to throw it to Julio on third down, so I don't know why he'd go there. Rueben would be second fiddle to Julio in an offense that already doesn't throw the ball at all. Looking at his best interest as far as production and playing goes, LSU is the obvious choice.

That's been my concern with the defensive and offensive lines, as well.

i think the only question will be at o-line, as long as the qb situation gets panned out..

at WR we will be STACKED(w or w/out randle)

at RB, stacked..C.Scott returning would be enormous

i don't know if i'd go the DD route just yet and say that Ford could start over any LSU rb now..

I don't see Davenport being a big impact player next year. I doubt he gets any time at all.

I think that is a great idea. JJ needs to be red shirted as Russell will start next year...
