There is no way in hell this football team will beat USCe, Alabama, A&M or Miss St. No offense. Prediction = 8-4.

Don't understand your negative predictions! I hope you probably did the same last year after a few "ugly" wins.

we have a great opportunity to beat usce this weekend. I don't think they will score many points on the defense. our offense has to do something and in tiger stadium at night we will win the game. we shut down driscoll and we will shut down shaw.
We do have the opportunity; however, each and every week we are lead to believe we are somehow going to "fix it". Hasn't happened. I love our defense, but our offense is just horrible. Playing in Tiger Stadium is an advantage no doubt, but I have seen enough to know, we're just not going to be able to move the ball against that defense. And as good as our defense is, when your on the field because of the 3 and outs, at some point the defense gets gassed. It happens.

So after the display we saw this past weekend, the game against Auburn, the game against Townsend, I'm suppose to be optimistic about this offense? How does one objectively look at the performance and not reach the same conclusions? And because some of us see it and tell it like it is, we suck as fans. C'mon man. I am as big a fan as anyone, but the writing is on the wall. What would make you or anyone see it any different?

Message Posted by 2007lsuno1 Take off the glasses brother. We start by getting pounded this weekend with USCe.

Miles has lost twice in a row one time - in the 2008 season at the end - Ole Miss and Arkansas. If the D doesn't quit on him, this team finishes no worse than 9-3. My guess is 10-2.

2010 is all you need to see. That offense sucked massive balls. A ton of close wins with its only losses as close ones to the national champ and top 10 Arkansas.

So, Connor Shaw is going to lead them in and out of TS dominantly

The simple answer is NO... but the combination of Shaw, Latt(best RB in the country), and The best DE in the nation can come into Tiger stadium and beat LSU due to our problems on the O-line and our Defense wearing down due to lack of offense. I will be rooting like hell for the Tigers but unless we figure out how to stop Clowney and pick up the backside blitz then we're looking more 3 and outs and that wears your defense out. With a power running game like their's it wears your defense out quicker...

Major adjustments needed in offense production and philosophy to put us back into title talk on any level. I can tell you that #3 in the country is not the best team in the country to have to work on things against.

Again, I recognize my opinion is not a popular one. I get that. Let's see where we are after USCe and Bama.

Don't get me wrong. The wheels could come off. There's some steep competition ahead and we do have a dismal offense. If team continues to play for Miles, we'll finish the season with a respectable to stellar record.

I consider 9-3 respectable for this team in any season... since 2001. In the 90's, 9-3 would have been like this:

I hear you. Every fiber of my being wants victory just like yourself and many others. Watching the game this past weekend was extremely painful. I will pray the conclusion will be as you say. I have to tell you, that some of us have been watching this game for a very long time, and this offense, coaching, play calling, etc. is just hard to deal with. Either way, I will be pulling for this Tiger team. Always have, always will. Tough watching them now.

Because I'm smart enough to know that when you play competative sports that shite happens...And you team can get to relaxed or not gel and this is what happens.

Yeah at least 50% of the people here suck arse it's the law of numbers.. and the spoiled babies that think losing just don't happen come here and cry about it.

Your wrong. Clearly. Some of us have been around the game a while. No, not joining the party lately. This has been going on for quite some time. Your not going to be objective, I can see that. And your going to be very disappointed in the next few weeks. Doesn't have anything to do with me as a fan. I'm sure I was a fan when you were still pooping yellow. I simply choose to call things as they are. Go back and watch the game again.

Man I assure you that this team has some major problems that are going to make it hard the next month and sitting and saying things like "shite happens" are just another way of saying I want to be nice and say nice things about my team.

We've got major corrections to make in the production asspect of the game on offense and it's time to change our philosophy a little as well to try to find some type of balance because you see what happened the second they shut down the running game, we went stagnant on offense.. It's not being a bad fan or ignorant to see these things and express your desire for them to change because we all want LSU to win and win big but as the game evolves you better be willing to evolve with it or it will pass you by and there is nothing your winning % in the past can do about it.
