Only thing I saw was that Mettenswag needed a little cleaner jersey than he had after the game. He took to many shots. Other than that we were rusty but who cares its always how it is in a lackluster opening game against an inferior team

Once again we put points in a VERY ugly fashion, as we always have. While every other team playing cupcakes were resting their starters we had ours playing deep in the 4th.

If we average giving up say 16 points a game after the season, would you be cool with that? Is your challenge that we don't win pretty enough? Why is winning, and being awesome not satisfying?

Last yera we went 13-0 and DOMINATED teams with almost ZERO passing game. I think we improved enough to but an arse-whippin on Washington. We really do not need to throw for 300 ypg. We just need teams to THINK WE CAN. Back the D up about 5 yards and the running game gets even better. Think about it,

Even for our talented team, there is still a learning curve. We will learn to magnify the things we did well and also make the improvements we need. We play an entire game the way we played that first quarter and we are money.
How about OBJ man? He's dangerous! I had pretty much counted out the special teams for the game but he was fantastic!

Exactly. Savannah State went 1-10 last year in FCS competition, with their only win coming over North Carolina Central (a team which only won 2 games) by 3 points.
I think most FBS teams could have easily run up at least 50 on those poor saps.

I say its cus we didnt look as good as other teams on our schedule. We may struggle with ark and bama this year, nut i think we roll aub, uf, and usce. They dont seem to have anything at qb rt now. We will be fricked if mett gets hurt cus the coaches arent going to let the other guys throw the ball. But im very impressed with blue and hilliard. Those guys will def play in the nfl.

Pretty sure any team in the country is going to struggle against those two. Some other teams will probably have tough games too. I hear the SEC is up this year.
