Damnit I just want to believe

Pretty sure that one with Narcisse handing the ball off is to Brossette (#4) not Ducre (#41), but I could be wrong...

How the heck are we going to play all these receivers, holy shite. They are all beast mode. Any 1 of these guys could start for any other team Jefferson, Mcmath, Sullivan, Anderson, Marshall, Chase, Dillon, Giles, Davis and I'm still probably missing another badass receiver. Can do full blown line switches like hockey with this group.

Does it matter? Were they recruited to block.
Nah, good call. You're right. No advantages whatsoever to having physically imposing receivers.

Well Cotton is also listed at 262 compared to
Lawrence at 300 and Fehoko at 298.
He looks small because he is about 35 pounds lighter than our starters.
Like I said, he will get bigger and I am Not worried at all. He doesn’t look like an upperclassmen or a JUCO Guy.
So temper expectations on the kid.

Ed Alexander is a mountain of a man! Lawrence, Fehoko and Alexander going to be wrecking crew in the SEC!!

He's learning from on of the best so give the man a break

Or you could interpret it as Mickey instructing in the drill while Sullivan stand with his hands on his hips.
Just a matter of perspective and how you choose to spin it.

Well, he isn't as big as Ed but he is not listed as a nose tackle either.
Guess which one of the people shown in this picture has been selected to the Pro Bowl 5 times. Is it the biggest guy, must be huh?
5× Pro Bowl (2010, 2012–2014, 2016)

Well, technically blocking is a part of being a receiver. The running backs usually don't break the long touchdown run if the receiver isn't blocking down field. Being physically imposing also helps with fighting to get off the line, durability over the middle, and makes for a large red zone target. But go on with being miserable I guess.

He's standing the furthest from the camera. Come on, dude.
ETA: he looks almost exactly Lawrence's size

Yeah Kyle Williams is 6’1” and 303 pounds
He’s 40 pounds heavier than Cotton
He also played at LSU at like 295.
There is nothing wrong with a freshmen needing to gain weight. I ddint Make up his size. It’s measured by the staff. Cotton is 262 pounds.

Those pictures of Mickey Joseph are exactly what I imagined of him coaching wide receivers. Standing as a prop in a drill with Sullivan standing by the players.
Nice. I'm sure your profession and career is much more rewarding and exciting. Why else would you take a shot at Joseph? BTW, I would hope that a 70+ yr old could teach the younger coach plenty.

Narcisse looks like a good sized QB too.

You know all the O detractors continually claim that O is utterly incompetent, doesn't have a clue, doesn't know what he is doing, doesn't know how to build a team, doesn't know how to evaluate talent and recruit, doesn't know how to put together a coaching staff, and all hope LSU loses as many games as possible this season because they hate O. However, this team is starting to look more and more like a team filled with studs to me. I'm starting to be pretty sure they will be very disappointed at the end of the 2018 season. Oh well, some of us tried to warn them.

Following this season, Einstein, Mickey Joseph will be one of the best wide receiver coaches in all of college football because, by that time, he would have been mentored for two full seasons by one of the greatest wide receiver coaches of all time.

Nah...no way that weight is correct. He is far bigger than that because the other day there was a picture of him and Alexander standing there watching practice together without any pads on and I was amazed that he was as big as he was standing next to Alexander. Dude is about the same size as Fehoko and Lawrence. If he is smaller, he isn't that much smaller, and his arms were also as big as Alexanders arms. Dude is going to be a stud.

So, you're saying that last year Orgeron hired a coach that needed to be coached?
Eta: Now we have one of the best WR coaches of all time and the best OL coach in college or pro. If that's the case, anything other than a CFP birth is underachieving.
