We went 9-4 last year with 3 close loses to Bama, Fl, and Ole Miss. If the field isnt pathetic in Cap One we beat Penn State and go 10-3. These jackas$es dont know anything. We didn't lose that much and other teams haven't gotten that much better. I can't believe some of these guys actually get paid to "analyze" football.

Penn State played on the same field to. Take it like a man and quit making excuses. We lost that game because we lost that game. They beat us, not because of the field or the weather, but because they beat us. Get over it you fricking idiot.

We lost that game...
Truer words were never spoken. It wasn't the conditions, it wasn't the lack of talent. It was the lack of execution and coaching versus a team that could adjust to adverse conditions and coaches who seemed to have a grip on what it takes to win a game.

What I don't get is all these folks saying we will have a better running game this year but will lose more games...Last year's squad was a cramp and twisted ankle from potentially beating Alabama.

might be pinning this on the qb play? Don't know...

I will say LSU should beat WVU. you have more talent, and WVU is starting a new qb. then there is the heat. WVU should pray for a night game because the loud fans is better than the heat. they are not used to the southern heat.

But, LSU is my 2nd favorite team having lived in LA since 82. I watched a lot of LSU football last year. If LSU plays like they did against LA Tech, WVU will beat them. Or can beat them. WVU beat North Carolina, UGA, Oklahoma, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Miss State twice(blowouts) over the past few years.

There is a reason WVU is ranked. If you think tackling that little back from Ole Miss was tough, Noel Devine is no easier.

I kind of agree, but the Penn State team was built better for those conditions. If you truly believe that field conditions make no difference, then I have some land I could sell you.....

I chuckle when I hear pro golfers complain about course conditions.... always seems to come from those that shot +9 for the day...

I very much agree with this.... especially the execution part.... that haunted us the entire season. That is a direct result of poor coaching.
