A "GREAT" coach

But the lemming-minds here want to label voices like ours as "negatigers" because they are too lazy or too mentally limited to think outside the lines or look at the reality of the football culture at LSU that we've currently got before our very eyes. It's all in the attitude - attitude of coaches, attitude of players.
I get what you're saying. Nick and Urban have that "I demand you to give 100% effort and respect or I'll cut your arse" attitude. They don't seem to have many discipline problems and they damn sure aren't player's friends (except eerie Tebow situation). Saban's players probably hate his arse while playing under him, but love and respect the man once they get into the real world. He may be an a-hole, but he is a winner who promotes winners all around him.

Dude, please STFU. Why does Miles need to throw his headset? Go cheer for another team. Miles demeanor will never change. Go suck Nicks nuts and be happy.

You need to grow up son. Stop being a spoiled little bitch.
You reflect very poorly on the LSU you reportedly love.

I totally agree with you 1000% but when i say it on here i get accused of trying to flame.

You would think if Spurrier was such a great coach with crazy attitude and recruiting after 4 or 5 years at South Carolina he would have won something by now. Oh so it does have something to do with being able to get top recruits at the school your actually at ok I understand now.

exactly. his act will wear out, we know it better than anyone. let bama have their two year trophy-free run. we will win the NC next year.

Urban and Saban don't have discipline problems? I seem to have recalled a past couple of different years

No one is claiming that Nick Saban's methods do not work. My problem with your analysis is that you (and Green Ram, Rowanspadre and the other Sabanistas) assert that his methods are the only ones which work. It is absolutely a truth that they are not the only viable methods. Miles' composure on the sidelines is not causing the players to play with less intensity or desire.
His inability to manage the clock is disconcerting. The penalties are reason for concern. None of that has anything to do with throwing headsets like an undisciplined child.

Maybe its just me that realizes this and maybe everyone does but you don't wanna talk about it. We have a spokesperson, a business man, a guy that looks like he can do the job. But we don't have a "Great" coach. Yes we won a national championship .... blah blah blah

Didn't have time to read all the posts, but just wanted to say a good coach would not have used all three time outs in the third quarter. Miles is horrible at clock managment. I am just saying. I do like him though.

Good Clock Manager =/= good coach.

Do you be Ward Cleaver, wrinkle your brow and let the Beav know that you're disappointed that he's not living up to his potential?
Or do you be the "Great Santini" and let him know that you're gonna make his life miserable if he screws up again?
