where the hell did all this abram love come from?
ditto that. i'm still pissed at a key drop he had at ND one yr.
faulk almost won that game by himself.

I wonder why he does not have good things to tell the Evangel players.

My bad Wuerffel was QB in 95 when they came to BR and handled us.
Reason I liked Booty was simple. He was a good receiver. He and Faulk were bright spots. Initially, under Dinardo, we won, and brought back the magic, and then it left again. There was Lou Tepper Defensive scheme, a guy named Thomas Dunson who was a monster linebacker who got an earful and transferred. We were losing regularly, and Dinardo gets canned.
It was not pretty in BR when NS arrived on the scene. Loss to UAB at home was not a way to bring back the magic, again.
So Abram was a consistent bright spot during these roller coater years.

The Abram Booty saga at LSU was ALL downhill after he originally got hurt.
Yall don't remember what happened? Before the injury, he was a very good possession receiver that ran great routes and caught most everything thrown to him. After the first injury, DiNardo inserted freshman Jerel Myers in his WR spot and moved Booty over to Flanker after he was healed enough to play. DiNardo had previously stated that no starter would lose their position due to injury. Booty complained to the media that he didn't like losing his starting spot due to injury (DiNardos own rule) and didn't like being moved and trying to learn a new position in the middle of the season. He was basically calling out DiNardo in public.
He tryed to come back and play at Flanker after the injury, but was never the same after. He got injured again and things went completely sour with the Saban locker room episode. Would up transfering and finishing at Valdosta State in Southern Georgia. (I think with Hal Mumme before he took the Kentucky job)
Been bad mouthing LSU to anybody and everybody at Evangel ever since.......
