re: Admit one thing that bothers you about Miles the most

Every time I hear Les Miles speak I'm reminded of Chance Gardner in "Being There"... I can't help but think he's at LSU by events of circumstance rather than by any profound football knowledge or skill.

He tries to speak in code or something to be funny. I think he thinks he's being cute, but it's the most annoying fricking thing ever. When he does an interview he just needs to speak plainly and say whats on his mind, people will respect him more.

What bothers me the most is how easily he chose to have co-defensive coordinators to run a defense that is apparently not working so great. I wished he would have gotten a really good defensive coordinator so we won't be worrying about these same defensive schemes coming up next season if he doesn't go looking for someone after the season.

With the exception of this year, his tendency to blow a double digit lead at least once a year.

Thats an awful thing to say. Coaches move up to get better jobs. LSU saw something in Miles and gave him a chance. I am happy with the job he has done. Saying he doesn't have football knowledge or skill is the most ridiculous statement. You make it sound like Miles is trying to fool people into thinking he is a football coach or something. The truth is that he can coach and he loves his players and has a lot of faith in him. Negative people like you spread lies and garbage and it trashes the man's accomplishments. Its terrible.

XtremeTiger25, meet Rex!
You've very quickly learned everything you need to know about him.
Well done

Lack of discipline across every aspect of the program. Does not seem to take losing personally like Saban did.

'06- Seems like he did it again against Tennessee & Arkansas.
'07- Kentucky & Alabama
Who can forget the 35-7 lead he blew at OSU against Texas.

Really? State some examples of a lack of discipline. I think he is running a good program and gets rid of bad character guys. This is another example of someone spewing useless garbage and rumors.

Oh ok. Just because Miles isn't EXACTLY like Saban, he is just garbage. Who cares what Saban does. Miles does things is own way. I like that Miles doesn't go out to his press conferences and compare losses to Pearl Harbor and other disasters.

Doesn't like to create controversy from within, but will surprise the shite out of you with some "catchy phrases" about an opposing coach, team, or the media".....
Actually, I like that about him....at first I thought he was a total nerd....., but living in Oklahoma, I learned to get great satisfaction at seeing him "piss off" the crappy OU fans and their prima-donna coach Stoops with some of his wild-arse comments!!

How many offenses did Derrick Odom and Perrilloux commit before it finally dawned on him that those guys were bad seeds?
On the field, the team still has trouble getting in position, plays in on time, dumb penalties, too much trash talking and moonwalking after every play....

He actually BRAGS at press conferences that 18 out of 26 seniors will graduate in January, and several others will graduate in MAY. Doesn't the dumb SOB understand that all that REALLY MATTERS is:
1. National Crystal
2. Keeping the fans warm when it gets to -----BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRR--- damn I'm cold, honey , it's 42, with a wind chill of 31------ Let's go home;
3. Going 41-9 makes Rantards pissed.
Yea, the MF doesn't have a clue, and you are a candidate for the Nobel Prize.
XTREME--- I DID not mean to send this response to you. Sorry for the bad REPLY send.

I'm pretty sure Odom was gone after the first or second transgression. You cant really tell me the Perrilloux problems were that serious. The continuing of little problems led to him being kicked off the team. Other jailbird programs probably would have kept them both.

You are mainly describing the defense when you are talking about being out of position and not knowing what to do. I really just think we need a new coordinator. A single coordinator. That should work out the kinks. I think we have gotten better with the penalties on the offensive side of the ball.

His hair cut is sort of Mayberryish. I wonder if he uses Vitalis?

I will never stop being amazed at how dissappointed morons on here feel about a 41-9 record and a National Championship. Why didn't LSU go 50-0? Must be the coaches fault.

It was at least the third or fourth incident Odom had been involved in before Les sent him packing.
Continuous little problems= lack of discipline.
