So what other teams in the West (and SEC in general) so far have shown that they have the inside game and overall athleticism that Arkansas has?

Well, just off the top of my head Mississippi State in the West. Ever hear of Jarvis Varnado?

And that's it, Varnado.

Ole Miss relies on a 6-7 forward (Halloway) to get 8 ppg, and Bama's only post threat is a 6'9 true freshman who's stats are no better than Halloway. And Auburn is meaningless in every sense of the word.

So in the West, Arkansas can ball, Varnado is excellent, and then it's all guard play. It's way to early to kill off the season just yet because we have problems in the post. Alot of teams in the SEC have problems in the post.

Also - I'm not trying to come off as an a-hole, it's just frustrating to see so many people completely throw their hands up and lose their minds this soon in the season. Didn't mean to get stupid on you

For everyone who HASN'T been following the basketball team we're going to struggle with teams that have height this year. This was no secret prior to the season or before last night. Arkansas has had 2 big wins recently AT HOME but they have still struggled some this year losing to Missouri State and getting taken to OT by a team we beat by 30. Arkansas doesn't play anyone over 6'9 and there's a lot of SEC teams we play who don't play much height and that's a big positive for us.

We can definitely beat the teams that don't heavily overmatch us in the paint and once again that includes a lot of SEC teams. Utah had a 7'2 Center and it's not like you run into those every week in the SEC.

We'll struggle to beat a team like Vandy but we can beat most teams in the SEC. We're 12-2 people.

You lose games in basketball, we play 30 of them prior to post-season play. You lose some big and some not so much. You win some big and some not so much. Calm down.

I'm just extremely frustrated at the way our big man have been getting pushed around. No hard feelings. Here's to a successful rest of the season

I'm with you, and the thought of going into next season with Garrett Green, Tasmin Mitchell, and Dennis Harris is a bit scary.

Arkansas is a good team, but I'm not going to say that we're unbeatable. We're young, but aggressive. This is still going to be a tough season for us. Now if we do good this year, be ready for next year. The kids will be grown up, with more experience.

Pioneer...are you saying you have a guy on your roster over 6'9 and you play him?

Because that is what I was pointing out.

Clark and Washington both are 6'10.

Washington may be 1st Team SEC at the end of the year.

Until Arkansas can prove to me they can win on the road. I will wait and see about crowning my hogs west champs.
