What a brilliant idea. Use the Guy that was so highly recruited by miles to run the ball in that situation. Wonder why miles never thought of that? Should have been asked yesterday.

I rewatched the play to show the wife how JJ could have scored by bouncing outside then I realized that although Ridleys block was good, JJ turned in due to the corner that did a good job of containment. DP was driven off the line by the corner and should have stepped inward turned and used the defenders momentum to drive him to the opposite endzone. Unfortunately, this is easier said than done and takes experience blocking to know when to do it. DP tried to block him straight up and allowed him to drive deep enough to contain the run and then slide off to force JJ to the inside. JJ narrowly escaped the corner and by moving to the center was met by the LB's.
