WOW. This is one of the top 10 stupidest posts I've ever seen. Why do you think colleges sponsor athletics anyway? I can tell you that it's not because the university enjoys watching competition.

LSU wouldn't dump money into the program if they didn't think it was going to make them money back. The only reason collegiate athletics were invented was to make a college money.
