JP, that was well thought out and well written. You guys have a really good football team. Your QB and top 2 WR's and very talented indeed. Though I wasn't there, it seemed like a great college campus and a passionate crowd. I hope you guys win the rest of your games this year. Cheers to a most entertaining football game !!

I think most people enjoyed their experience. It looks like the incidence were isolated. I mostly heard griping about the traffic. Good luck for the rest of the year.

It really is more than a HS spread offense though. It was very balanced (nearly 200 rushing yds/gm) with Holgorsen last year at Oklahoma State. Unfortunately this year we just lack the personnel to be balanced. The 2 running backs that we played were both true freshman.

Recruiting could limit us in terms of becoming a top-tier program. We don't have any in-state prospects, and it isn't the easiest to recruit top athletes to WVU over the likes of LSU, Bama, Florida, etc.

We do have 2 BCS Bowl wins since 2005, so we're hoping we can build off that and continue the success. Preferably in a more respectable conference.

WVU never quit. The team had a lot of heart and a lot of talent and kept fighting back. I think our coaches and players learned a lot from playing you and will be a better team because of it.

I agree -- but posters like this usually get tired of the crap and the bs that makes this board as great as it is.....they seldom come back.

Your offense is scary, skill everywhere. And I don't think we'll see another Geno this season.

Stay the course and you'll win at least 10.

And,

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Is the game against Bama in Death Valley or Tuscaloosa? I'll be cheering hard for you to take them down!

See you in the National Championship game next year (ok a little optimistic)..

Agreed, too bad many of the LSU fans who post here don't have those qualities.

Classy Jp.

FWIW, West Va is one of the more beautiful states in the country, plus John Denver's Country Roads is a classic

You guys know as well as we do that pretty much every big time football program has their share of drunk a-holes, unfortunately it does seem we have a few more than most fan bases to be honest. A few idiots give our entire fan base a bad reputation, which sucks, but try not to judge our entire fan base by that.

Here's the difference: every SEC venue I've been to, there are a few sects that act the arse. At WVU, it was the entire stadium, including families. It was widely accepted and applauded to be the drunkest and crudest person watching the game. It was funny to me because they go to extreme to be something they're not.
