I say the extra practice time alone is the only reason we need to accept ANY bowl bid.

I agree. But only if the bad habits and coaching techniques don't contaminate the young ones.

This is probably the worst thing I have read on the rant. A symbolic gesture? To prove what?

To show that our fanbase is a bunch of spoiled bandwagon riding fricking babies?

I can't believe what I'm reading from all of the spoiled fans out there. This team may not have double-digit wins. We won't win the SEC or the National Championship. But our team went out every week and tried. They deserve the bowl. If you're off the bandwagon after having a less than stellar year, then stay home. I've been to those minor bowls (Liberty, Independence), the medium bowls (Peach, Cotton), and the bigs (Sugar, National Championships). I was always proud of my team for showing up and competing. The games were mostly a lot of fun (exception was freezing to death at Liberty Bowl loss). This is not the same team as last year. Not all of these guys have been to a bowl. They deserve to go. I suggest the whiny babies jump on some other bandwagon.

I only wish it were so easy to get rid of them.

Looking like a snob?

Denying families with young Tigers the ability to economically take their kids to see LSU play in a bowl for the 1st time in their lives?
