At least we have a fair amount of time to gameplan for CEH's loss.

I said it the the day the info came out and no one listened but go back and look in the topic... he is being held out only this week for precautionary reasons. He will play in the Peach bowl. Not 100% but will play. Will be 100% for New Orleans. Take it for what it is worth. The injury was more scary than anything to CEH. Just was really weird. He will be fine. I think they are leaving as it is right now so in the off the wall chance he cant play come game day no one can ask what happened.

I have no sources but my intuition tells me he is done for the season.

I hope he is healed and 100% ready to kick OU's arse. However, the lack of information about the "injury" (didn't Coach O say we would know more by the end of the week?), makes me queazy about this being an "LF7 injury." I hope this is not the case but I can see how a player who wanted to "skip" the game(s) due to the risk of injury and the NFL draft, might choose to "claim" an injury to avoid the expected outrage by the fans. Now, before ANY of you proclaim "CEH would NEVER do that because the game(s) are really important," do we REALLY know what is on his mind and what he is thinking? I don't think so. All that being said, I REALLY hope this is NOT the case and he plays in both games at 100%.....we beat the crap out of OU.

Exactly. So why bring this stupid shite up and accuse the kid of faking an injury to skip a playoff game? Get the frick off here with that bullshite. Did you see the emotion he let out after the Bama win? This kid is LSU through and through. frick off with this nonsense.

Because there is a significant list (and growing) of college football players who are skipping their bowl games. If you could take your head out of your arse you might have noticed. It's just a matter of time until a player (in the playoffs) decides to skip out. Almost everyone (and probably you) defend these players...I don't. I think the fans are possibly making it easier for players to skip out by supporting their decision. So, remember this, if it is OK to skip the Pinstripe bowl, it is OK to skip a playoff game. The REASON for skipping remains the same. It's a topic worthy of discussion.

Magic 8 ball says he will play in the Natty if made. Otherwise a strained ham quickly becomes a pulled ham.

I thought your first post was the worst ever on this topic, but this one beat it.
Terrible take.

We can beat OU without CEH.

Maybe not OSU or Clemson

Even assumming that this single sentence in your last post is correct, it is disingenuous of you to stuff the topic in the middle of a discussion of CEH's injury (which the scrupulously honest head coach has confirmed) and then claim, "Oh, I didn't mean to suggest that CEH might be faking it." Complete and utter bullshite.

People freaking out over losing a 5'9" running back because nobody else can block for the QB? The OL that just won the Joe Moore Award may have something to say about that....

No one on this board knows anything. The medical staff and people close to the situation are the only ones who truly know what’s going on.

If I had to guess, they’ll continue to keep it close to the vest, leaving the window open that he’ll possibly play. He’ll dress but only be used if absolutely needed. He won’t be IMO, I think LSU will dominate OU. He’ll continue to rest and rehab and be a full go for the National Championship on January 13th.

He tore his hamstring. He won’t play in either playoff game

MRI showed very minor damage, they injected stem cells today, goes back Sunday to see how the treatment took, and Bankston is cautiously optimistic he can play in final if we get there.

That’s what my group text was told by our friend who usually knows these things. He talks to players a lot because of his job.
