On that point you are correct. However, you fail to know that it was the battle of Kings Mountain in North Carolina that helped the Continental army stop Mckinnely and Ferguson, of the British army, from defeating the patriot forces and taking over the southern portion of the colonies. The group of men that defeated Ferguson were comprised of men from the Blue Ridge Mountains, namely Boone and the surrounding area.

Yes it does!

Yeah they will. They'll be bragging about yardage and first downs made, like the Tulane fans. The score will be LSU 42 ASU 7, but they'll be harping on stupid shite.

...yeah....I guess if the halftime score is close, they'll portray that score as the final score.......just like Tulane did last year.

No, we will be just as proud and just as loud after the game as we are before. We love our school and our football team. I think that the LSU players and coaches are fully aware of what kind of team they will be facing on Aug. 30. Its all of you guys on this board that will be surprised like Michigan was!

Well looks good then, because I have all 32 of my teeth. You're the ones that should be worried if that's how the score will be reflected. I know that most of the Louisiana diet is soft foods so your gums won't get hurt.

I'm much more worried about Troy. Unlike Micheegan we'll be ready to start our season on Aug, 30th.

It was a great win for your program last year. Lightning wont strike twice. Your blind squirrel won't be finding any nuts in Red Stick.

Listen I'm not one of those fans still hanging on to the win in Ann Arbor. I'm looking at the line-ups both teams will be putting on the field this year. Both App and LSU have lost some players that made big contributions last year. Both teams are stacked petty well but App is actually just as good if not better than last year.

It's all going to come down to strategy, preparation and who really wants it more. And I'm telling you now, I'm friends with several of the App players and our guys want this really bad!!!

....and i want a million bucks, neither is gonna happen. i always thought about moving to the boone/asheville area, but after coming across yall on this board i think i'll stay away from that area, too many dumbasses.

Hey, I've been to Louisiana and it's really not that bad of a state. I actually liked it a lot. All this banter back and forth is in good fun. If you take it personal then toughen up.

I'm a student so I'm waiting for the tix to open for sale and to find out how many the students are going to get. If I can get my paws on a pair then I'm on my way.

And BTW, I'm a non-traditional student that served in the U.S. Navy so I'm not basing my opinions on pure emotion.

Smack talk and passion is understandable. If I make it down I'll look you up at the game.

Also tell your family I said "Hoo-Yah"
