He inherited a pretty good team. That excuse doesn’t hold water. This season is a dumpster fire, I’ll give you that, but skill isn’t the issue

Ok, then this same logic must also be applied to Orgeron.

Speaking of, I think Muschamp should be #1 on our wish list for DC when Pelini bites the dust

Yeah lets fire one DC that was great when offenses ran the ball and hire another.

Surely everyone will abandon the pass again right?

I’ve said multiple times Orgeron gets a mulligan on 2020. Aside from the NFL draft, the fact we lost our two best coordinators as late as we did put us way behind the eight ball. Combine that with limited practice and completely switching schemes it was a recipe for disaster.

I’m not certain, but I would imagine all first year coaches are struggling this year. This was not the year to have your first year as a coach, limited practices, lack of being seen and heard etc.

But he’s the greatest coach we ever had! How’s that possible?

Comparing his DC success to potential
HC success seems silly.

That’s like passing on Saban because he stunk it up in the NFL. Saban excelled at every school as a HC and Aranda has excelled as a DC at every school. It definitely doesn’t mean he isn’t good if he doesn’t succeed as a HC.

One of the greatest defensive minds as a HC is Smart and even he is getting worked by elite offenses in today’s time.

Ask the Baylor fans how they feel about your boy.
