The OL isn’t good but a bad scheme gives them no shot. That’s what the ‘what do you want Steve to do?’ crowd isn’t getting. The OL only limits him within a faulted scheme.

That's precisely it.

It's an OL just below average that's part of a dated below average scheme and the result is a below average to bad offense.

Ensminger's offensive scheme is based on an offensive philosophy that Orgeron has been wanting to run his entire coaching career. He's yet to hire an OC who can efficiently operate that offense and Ensminger is the latest proof.

The excuses made for Orgeron and his chosen offensive staff for LSU's current below average and just plain bad offense is absurd. It's been a very bad offense all year, but it's been overshadowed by a head coach and a team that has performed better than most expected.

This board spent 2 weeks bashing Alabama's weak schedule. Coming in to 11/3 they gave up more than 16 ppg and now the excuse for LSU getting shutout is that we arent talented enough? So coaching gets a pass now, but it didnt for the last 8 years?
The acceptance and excuses for mediocrity are embarrassing.

Still waiting for you to answer the question about continuously calling 5-7 step drops when your offensive line sucks.
Thanks.
